New Xbox 360 update doesn't do anything
Genie paramour and Microsoft spokesman Major Nelson said the code is solely to "prepare for future growth of the service." We're hoping the update is tantamount to a young girl getting a saddle the night before her thirteenth birthday, only the metaphorical pony is the Spring Dashboard Update, information on which has been unusually scarce. We'll let you know when we get some.

The Pro...with a 60GB drive for $249. I'm in like Flynn.
By now production cost must be down significantly and they should be able to shave 100 off no problem.
They should drop that darned Arcade crap though. It's only a matter of time before a game gets seriously handicapped because of fear of losing out non-hdd gamers.

I'm sick of not being able to watch my Podcasts though the extender interface when I know the X-Box can play them through the dashboard.

contrast settings on my 360. Menus, dashboard and games do not seem
to look the same. This is hard to quantify - has anyone else noticed
anything funny?

Note: this is my actual opinion on the gayness of Xbox Live.

Sure, it sucks, but that's part of the reason why I don't personally give a damn about the 360. I mean, yeah.. it's got some shooters. Nothing special and something that'll be ported over to the PC in time..
Pretty much all the crap that people have been paying for, a lot of us have been doing on a PC for years, for free, oh, and you don't need a matchmaking service to baby you in to a server IT thinks is right for you.
Sure, some of you will stand up for the service probably noting that there are games on that thing that you can't find anywhere else. That's true, but I don't think that the console, the game, and the service fees are worth it.
I don't know where I'm going with this, hell.. I'm probably just bitching at this point. Feel free to disagree with me (I know someone will), but plzzzz do it in a respectable manner.
