All political controversy aside, bearing the Olympic torch during its long route to the Games is an incredible honor, and this year two professional gamers will take part in the international relay. Through a sponsorship deal with peripheral manufacturer Razer, XiaoFeng "Sky" Li and Jae ho "Moon" Jang will both bear the torch as it passes through China en route to the Beijing National Stadium.
Both Sky and Moon are professional Warcraft III players, with the former being recognized as the world's best Human-class player, and the latter as the one of the world's best Night Elf-class players. Both were chosen by Razer from a group of ten professional gamers, selected by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games. Congrats go out to both.

There are over 500 Runners and Bearers for the TORCH along its relay. So having 2 people here, regardless of what they do is fine. Good for them.

Yeah. The Chinese government is pulling a big piece of wool over there peoples eyes. With the Great Firewall of China all there media about Tibet is manipulated as to save face for the Olympic Games. I have a little better idea of what was going on over there because I was in the Himalayas when it first happened. The way I learned about the protests is from the victims families walking in a large group with candles chanting in mourning. They told us that 200 Tibetans had just been killed. On the first day. Anyways Americans shouldn't even have a world politics view inless they leave the country and experience these other places. Its crazy watching news in other countries and in ours. I feel sorry for anyone that listens to Fox News. It is so one sided its not even funny. If you want random news about events and lifestyles outside of the country but you can't afford to leave the country. I would actually suggest reading peoples travel blogs. I'm more willing to believe a handful of people that were there and whose stories have not been manipulated by any government or business. Than to listen to the news where everything you hear is controlled. Everything you see on the news is there for a reason other than telling you whats going on in the world today.

And what of us Americans that DO leave America? I was born in Montreal, speak fluent French, functional German and I'm learning Japanese and can go ass-backwards through written Chinese thanks to the shared characters. I've been as far south as Chile and as far east as Turkey. My father works for the new york times. And just because I'm an American I can't have an opinion? Bull shit. I'll say what I want, when I want, about what I want, based on what I see.
