Wow, Epic is so full of huge retards as of late. With Cliffy "B", Mark Rein and this new jack off, it is a wonder they all can fit in the same offices with such huge heads.

Epic has gotten way too full of themselves as late. Pride goes before a fall as the old proverb goes, and it seems to state the likely course for epic. They keep shoehorning there content into smaller and smaller markets, and it may be good for them int he micro sense of the scale, but int he macro sense, the long term, they are only hurting themselves by not delvoping content for every platform.

Face it they are Butt hurt over UT not selling well ont he PC.

Hey here is a thought... of course not really related to the epic-Wii-is-an-inferior-system..
..ahem.. What if Nintendo is prepping the next Wii (lets call it WiiHD) and it compares to the 360 then Maybe Epic will come-aa-porting.

It won't happen, at least not anytime soon. You'd have to be a major business douche to replace a system that is STILL in short supply as it is. A WiiHD would cost more to manufacture and eat into the profits Nintendo can earn just by sticking with the current system.

If and when the next gen (are we really talking about that already?!) rolls around for Nintendo, you can expect the Xbox Next and PS4 will have moved on even further. Unless Ninty makes a double generational jump in terms of hardware, Epic is unlikely to 'look back' then or ever.

Ok, am I the only one that lost all of my respect for this guy when he claimed that he had no regrets about Gears of War 1. Seriously, guy? What about that FRIGGIN TERRIBLE driving mission we were forced through?

Facts about the PS2 that hold true with the Wii:

Weakest hardware
Mostly shovelware
Lowest attach ratio
Highest hardware sales
Volume makes up for low attach ratio

Only difference is apparently Epic wasn't concerned with using the best hardware when making Unreal Championship for the PS2. When Uncle Greenback comes calling, Epic will answer.

Well, they don't NEED to, as they seem to have the PS3, 360 and PC markets sown up.

But I can't help but feel that they're missing an opportunity to make more $$$$$.

Developers need a decent engine on the wii... so there would be a lot of potential customers.

That said, since Wii development is so much cheaper than PS3/360 development maybe they wouldn't be able to get half as much money for their middleware.

You might have missed it, but Cliffy "B" was recently quoted(as well as Mark rein later) that they would no longer develop on the PC.

UT3 did very poorly on the PC, due in large part to the game being little more then a graphical update of the last game. They are upset the pc market didn't buy up their shovel-ware like people on the PS3 and soon 360 will. Gears of War did shitty as well, but that has more to do with the GFWL integration then anything I think.

In a general sense, I think it's a little narrow-minded on his behalf. The Wii is broadening an audience, and if you want to bring gaming to the masses, you can't expect all of them to access the latest tech.
