How to get the five Battlefield Bad Company DLC weapons

At their community event last week, Electronic Arts unveiled the five separate tasks you must complete to be able to use all five previously-premium weapons in Battlefield: Bad Company. Although the official site has only revealed one of the ways, Planet Battlefield has outlined all five methods:

QBU88 Sniper Rifle: Pre-order the game online or at any participating retailer. So far we know Gamestop and Amazon are part of this deal.
UZI Submachine Gun: Download and play the demo
M60 Light Machine Gun: Sign up for the Battlefield newsletter
F2000 Assault Rifle: Register your Battlefield soldier name
USAS12 Shotgun: Check your Bad Company stats online at launch.

Is this better than paying a premium? As for the quality of the weapons, our friends at sister site X3F tell us that, at least for the beta, the Uzi and F2000 are noticeably more powerful than their available-at-launch counterparts, while the others feel pretty balanced.

whoa, you think the beta was bad?? Are you fucking stupid? the graphics are not mediocre, they are just as good, if not better than, cod4's. you say the animations are bland, well thats off opinion and i have to say they are fine. Then you say there is no satisfaction in killing somebody, well it's exactly the same as cod4. And you need a full clip to kill somebody???? You fucking suck testicles. It takes 5-6 shots for me. Because i know how to aim.

Also, if you hate the game so much, then DON'T BUY IT!

And don't complain about it either. Because your complaints are your opinion, and they don't matter to us (us being everybody else who has to read you bullshit).

I was really looking forward to a BF-style game for the 360, but after playing the beta, I realize this wasn't the BF-style game I was hoping for. I thought it was pretty bad.

Graphics were very mediocre: far-away textures remind me a little of the Atari days. Almost literally. The animations and gameplay itself felt extremely bland. There is almost no satisfaction in killing someone and it seems to take an entire clip with a full-auto weapon to do so. You know how in COD4 when you hit someone there's that little "plunk," which makes you feel some satisfaction? BF:BC is missing anything of the sort and when you hit someone it feels more like you've shot a piece of paper that may have blown over with the wind anyway.

But I digress...the maps are way too big for the # of people playing on them: a map quadruple the size of the largest COD4 map needs to have more than 24 people on it, and of those 24, it helps if 18 of them aren't in vehicles.

Blowing stuff up, the chopper and the huge maps are the only things I like about this game, which sucks when you consider all it takes to truly like a game.

A definite and indisputable PASS from me...regardless of this weapon debacle.

Hmmm funny. I pre-ordered the game off Gamestop and wasn't charged anything. Also, I won't be charged until its shipped. So I've been playing a demo and ranking up basically for free. Why complain?

The promotion doesn't seem to be all that bad. It's like waiting outside of Best Buy for days when a new console comes out. The people that don't, have to wait until after Christmas. You don't pre-order, you don't take the steps to get the weapons. You have to rank up to get them.
