Metal Gear Online beta 'planned' for April 25 ... late night
Konami has updated the status of the Metal Gear Online beta delay, now listing the "planned" start date and time as: 04/25/2008 24:00 (PDT). "While the start is planned for the weekend, it may change due to unforseen [sic] circumstances," reads an additional warning on the Metal Gear Online teaser site. Sheesh, guess it ain't called a "beta test" for nothin'...

Shiggy, did you have anything to do with this? Remember last week when me and Shane picked you up off the floor after you threw up all over that "woman" (I keep telling you Shiiggy, that "woman" was a MAN) and sliiped and fell over off the barstool and into your own vomit you gave me a dirty look and mumbled something about MGSO and sabotaging it with turtle shells. I thought it was the booze talking but I am starting to get suspicious of you.
Did you?
PS
If you try to call your wife or leave your office, don't. If you do you will quickly come face to face with several very large black men...and they will force you on your knees....and it won't be to pray.
Going to the 'Miyamoto is gay' card over and over again. You might think that joke would have gotten real old by the hundredth time you posted it.
But no, you know how to spice it up with just enough 'large black men are scary' ribticklers to keep everything fresh.
So, just to be clear, you procreated?
Who is this wife of mine you keep reffering to? Did you not know that I am not married? Oh and you are wrong about Shiggy, he indeed did purchase a 360 and he has already requested to be my friend on LIVE. I would give you his gamertag but he told me he doesn't want me to put him out there like that.
So when are we going out for some more drinks so Shiggy can get wasted and we can take some crazy pictures of him again? Ill take my car this time. Shiggy and his silly Honda Fit its no match for my Lambo.

Taking time off from grade school for a videogame = Dumb and surprisingly not worth it
Taking time off from College for a videogame = Dumber and usually much more detrimental than doing it in grade school
*Taking time off from work for a videogame = If you've got the sick/term leave time to cover it, go for it. You earned the time, might as well use it if you're a person who doesn't regularly take them or get ill. If you do it and would either have to make up the work or have no monetary compensation for it... forget it.
(*my situation)
I'll try to remember to add you when I get home from work. I just rented MLB The Show and I'm addicted. The Road to Show mode is really fun (even though I'm not starting yet)
I was never a fan of the sony baseball series, always prefered the MVP or 2K offerings, but 2K8 sucks testes this year and the Show is an unstoppable juggernaut of baseball brilliance.
24:00 doesn't exist as a time.
it's like saying the twelfth of never.

In the 24-hour time notation, the day begins at midnight, 00:00, and the last minute of the day begins at 23:59. Where convenient, the notation 24:00 may also be used to refer to midnight at the end of a given date — that is, 24:00 of the current day is the same point in time as 00:00 of the following day.
The notation 24:00 mainly serves to refer to the exact end of a day in a time interval. A typical usage is giving opening hours ending at midnight, e.g. "00:00–24:00", "07:00–24:00". Similarly, some railway timetables show 00:00 as departure time and 24:00 as arrival time. Legal contracts often run from the start date at 00:00 till the end date at 24:00.
Time-of-day notations beyond 24:00 (such as 24:01 or 25:59) are neither commonly used nor covered by any relevant standards. However, they have been observed occasionally in some special contexts in Japan and Hong Kong where business hours extend beyond midnight, such as broadcast-television production.
Most digital clocks and watches show times between 00:00 to 23:59. As a notable exception, the digital clocks of at least one European manufacturer of kitchen appliances show 24:00 for midnight, rather than the standard 00:00.

SDF Elite still believes in that.
Killjebus believes that PS3 will outsell both Wii and PS2 combined.
