No demo planned for Gears of War 2
According to associate producer Tanya Jessen, producing a demo takes valuable time out of a game's development cycle, and with a two-year turnaround for Gears 2 a demo was simply not feasible. The first Gears of War also lacked a demo version, and with recent reports that demos aren't as great as publishers think they are, we have to trust that the folks at Epic know exactly what they're doing.

Expect a PC version with more levels on the PC in the spring of 2009.

Ha, I know right but maybe not since Gears didn't do too well on PC. Maybe Epic learns from that and they dont waste their efforts on it? I don't really care as long as I can get my hands on it in Nov. My PC is NOT made for running games like these anyway.
I heard somewhere that Epic plans on putting out the PC content to 360 a bit b4 Gears 2 drops. Probaly BS but that would be smart IMO.

Who cares? Have you played Gears on the PC? It is the most broken game I have ever played in my 30+ years of gaming. It's worse than E.T.

They wouldn't thats why this post of nothing is worthless to put up. There isn't a demo for GOW why would they do different for the sequel. They wouldn't so this is nothing new.

Will the 360 version ever get the extra content from the PC version? They deserve it don't they? I'm sure a lot more 360 owners have played GOW than PC owners.

Why should they release a demo? It won't introduce any new gameplay things most likely. Just go play gears 1 for your demo.

The demo is available from Gamefly or Blockbuster. Its called Gears of War.

only unproven games and games that tanked the 1st time around need demos in the 1st place. some games are just gonna get bought on either hype or merit for doing a good job the 1st go round
