Adventure hero Zak McKracken (sort of) returns
The bad news? ... Well, it's in German. That's pretty much all the bad news, but for an adventure game isn't that pretty much all the bad news you need? The team is reportedly working on an English version, but for now, we're just going to have to trust our German friends for an assessment of the quality. So? Ist es gut?

Pssh, not as good as the underappreciated and overlooked 'Touch McCracken: Between the Cheeks"

Germans only like it because Zak McKracken looks like David Michael Hasselhoff.

Cause we all know, Germans love David Hasselhoff.

I just remember not getting something from the Hare Krishnas in the airport and learning that I couldn't advance in the game without it and couldn't go back to get it, so I played LOOM instead.

Whoa! I loved Zak McKracken on my old Amiga 2000! Hot damn, if only I spoke German. I love seeing these old school adventure games get revived. Anyone working on another Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tentacle?

Let's get the original Zak on the Virtual Console, guys, c'mon!

The first thing: We - the germans - hate David Hasselhoff as much as the rest of the world ;-) But we like Knight Rider.
And the second thing: Zak McKracken - Between Time and Space is simply great. The riddles are hard and it's still a little bit buggy, but the sound, the grafic and gameplay are awesome! And the story, hey, it's fantastic.

Uhh, the download page on the official website says the game isn't released...

Why don't, yknow, LUCASARTS actually do anything with all their awesome old IPs?
Why is it that when I want to play any form of classic lucasarts game I have to get it from anyone but lucasarts? Muppets.

While this is great and all, why dont we see these fans (and other fan projects (ultima 5 project?!) use these powers for awesome, and release some new IP, along the veins of the games we love??!!
