Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 pushed to 2009 ... or not [update]
Original: Despite Activision's early claims of mass-Marvel action in 2008, it appears that the sequel to Marvel Ultimate Alliance won't be hitting shelves this year, after all. The delay is possibly an attempt to avoid dividing sales between the title and Spider-man: Web of Shadows, which is due out this fall.
Reporting from the NYC Comic-Con, UGO Gamesblog spoke with an Activision representative, who stated that the action RPG sequel will not be seeing a release in 2008. The original game (pictured above) was released in 2006 to largely favorable reviews.

You see Fernando, this is why you get in trouble =P
Goddammit Fernando. I can't hate you.
I was going to get Ultimate Alliance for the Wii, but it looked too similar to the first games. If I can see enough differentiation from its predecessors, I might pick this game up. Though, I may change my mind in the next 8-10 months.

Still, I can't wait to play another Ultimate Alliance game. I had a blast playing co-op on the first one.
And Deadpool had better still be playable.

CHIMMICHANGAS!!!
and also
"Warning: a small thermonuclear device is missing, and Deadpool was last seen in the weapons lab."
and who could forget
Deadpool: "Weasel old buddy! Where have you been hiding out?"
Weasel: "In the hospital, you stabbed me in the leg remember?"
Deadpool: "Oh yeah, but I had to, you were trying to steal my last Cheesy Puff."
Weasel: "It was my bag of Cheesy Puffs!"
Deadpool: "That's not how I remember it."
Pretty much everything Deadpool says and does in that game is hilarious and awesome. In fact, that's not just restricted to the game.
Wish I would have known this beforehand, I would have gotten Untold Legends at launch instead... which I actually had much more fun with when I bought it later for $20. Sure, the story was stupid but what high fantasy game can't claim the same? I just need a loose reason why I'm cutting a town full of zombies to bits. "King be evil, yo! His evil be turning people to monsters." Works for me....

Hopefully I won't have to pay extra for The Hulk and Venom this time.

Unfortunately I had the Wii version and therfore missed out on the DLC; hopefully that can be remedied this time around (and if not, you'd better believe I'll just get it for 360).

1. PS3 has a higher attach rate than Wii.
2. THIS HAS FUCK ALL TO DO WITH THE SYSTEM. Seriously, READ. It says it's delayed, if it's delayed, because they don't want a Spiderman Game to compete with a Marvel game for shelf space....

So polish the graphics more in general, but especially fix up the cut scenes.

First one was fun..
Hopefully they'll add better camera and better views, also a better level up system instead of the ultimate x-men one they keep relying on. they need to fix it and release it in 2009..DONT RUSH IT!
