I always thought it used the U3 engine it seems it uses MT Framework.

It really looks good.MT Framework point to a new Megaman Legends game.I hope this turns out to be true.

I don't see how you could play this without a controller. If so, what's the point of a pc port?

Playing with the keyboard it's easy. Actually I played DMC3 with a keyboard not a problem.

And either way you can get a pc gamepad cheap.

You can use adapters on the market to use console controllers. If you're a PC gamer, odds are you already have a controller anyway ( I use the adapter to use my XB360 wireless controllers ).

PC ports of Capcom games = Not good.

PC ports of Capcom games by Ubisoft = SH*T.

I still regret buying that PC port of Onimusha. It was unplayable at best.

"Said version will enhance Nero and Dante's adventure by adding "new modes, enhanced graphics options and some additional content.""

Take that, PS3 and 360 fanboys, claimin that their version of DMC4 is better! LOL *flame bait*

Maybe Capcom will add the ability to EXIT a game without having to bring up the Task Manager on this port.

I liked more how it looked on the XB360 but spawning tons of enemies sounds interesting.

They should enhance the Dice game. It wasn't a bad concept but it was poorly develop.

A multiplayer board game with DMC4 would pwn if done right.

4 to 8 player roll a die to the finish line and the way is full of traps, monster, rewards, unlockables, ways to trap your opponents, challenges and others etc etc.

While the quality of ports to PC are still a bit lower than I'd like, I'm actually pretty fond of the trend of things getting released late-- but with more features.

Since I get the game a few months after it is out, the hype has completely died. Yahtzee has usually gotten a review up-- I can actually know whether its worth the money or not.

And who doesn't like new features?

Remember when they ported Resident Evil 4 to the PC and it had no mouse support?
I was thrilled after buying a copy for myself and to further find out I couldn't use the mouse, and was forced to use the arrow keys on the keyboard. Awesome.

Is it just me, but do most Capcom PC ports look completely terrible compared to their console counter-parts? Resident Evil, as mentioned above, lost planet, and DMC3...etc

On topic though, I really hope this version will be on par with the PS3/360 versions, graphics wise, as well as Fluidity of the Control system.

My guess is you'd be forced to use a gamepad anyways.

The PC port of lost planet was fine to me. I already knew not to expect much as its console affair was best described as "good at first". I wouldn't wanna play this though on a keyboard and mouse. Its hard enough on the consoles to get freaky amazing at it.

You look awfully familiar :P...

...

Well anywho I felt that Lost Planet was a solid port. I just hope that this time around when they port DMC4 they give proper gamepad support instead of the crap they gave us in DMC3.
