Boom Blox could go multi-platform
We know that, if you haven't played it, the charms of Boom Blox don't immediately reveal themselves. But trust us when we say that to play this "tangible actualization of what Wii games are supposed to be" is to love it. So it should come as good news that Amir Rahimi, senior producer on the game, recently told VideoGamer that "there's definitely the possibility of going to other consoles."
Though it might be passable with the SixAxis/DualShock 3, we're concerned with how the package would translate to the 360. Unless of course, you work for EA and you know that Microsoft is developing a motion control device ... Not that Amir Rahimi knows that, of course. We're just saying.

cue Fernando damage control in 3..2..1..
LOL, j/k this is good, but I also wonder if you will get the same effect in a waggleless Boom Blox? I dont really see 6axis/DS3 working for this either

I have a Wii and I have to say, I really could care less about this game. In fact I am really starting to debate E-baying the sucker(my Wii that is).
If anyone here is interested in buying it I'd be down for that too. It comes with Twilight Princess and MP3. Send me an e-mail if you're interested and we'll figure out a decent price... jroozen@hotmail.com

ummm that's good for you?
Anyways, I'm interested. Depending on how much you're planning to sell it that is.

But if you really want to enjoy the game in its purest form, everyone knows you need to play it on the Wii w/ Will Smith's "Boom Shake the Room" in the background.

Life doesn't get much better than that.

Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Apr 24th 2008 5:41PM

suddenly a million xbox fanboys cried out in agony as waggle and casual games invaded the 360!

Or they secretly rejoice...

Have you ever been on XBLA? It's littered with casual games.
As for this, it actually looks like a fun game. More importantly, one I might be able to convince people to play multiplayer on. With the exception of Wii Sports and Rock Band, I'm still having trouble with getting my non-gamer friends to pick up a controller.
OTAM @ Apr 24th 2008 3:24PM
Keep casual/pick up and play games off my systems plz.

You guys are really being silly dismissing a game just because its "casual". Maybe thierare casual games that are FUN?!? But then again god forbid we play games for fun.

Boom Blox, multi-platform?
Duh, it's EA.
Mr Khan @ Apr 24th 2008 4:31PM
A physics-based game always seemed meant for those consoles, anyway, just that its cartoony coat of paint kept it away
Really, this game is LittleBigPlanet sans the platforming and the Game 3.0 overture
el serpiente @ Apr 25th 2008 12:53AM
What on earth does this have to do with LBP?
Shmil @ Apr 24th 2008 5:15PM
i lost my serious interest in this game when they pulled the headtracking easter egg. i really want to see that be put into a game.
