When you think celebrity, racing and Mario Kart, only one name really comes to mind: Jason Priestley. That's why the actor is a perfect choice to be the final boss of sorts for tomorrow's Mario Kart Wii tournament at the Nintendo World Store in NYC.
You should know though that when we think Jason Priestley, we also think August 11, 2002, when he plowed his Indy Pro Series car into a wall at 180 miles an hour at the Kentucky Speedway before making a speedy and complete recovery. So try to remember that when he's dropping the 90210wnage -- he's also loco and possibly the T-1000.

Didn't this guy smash his Indy racing car into a wall and nearly killed himself?
The dude was in some serious hurt...crushed some bones and all.

He's also part owner of a Indy Car racing team.

Wow, the owner of Rubicon Race Team. I wonder if he'll make his driver show up too. (Priestly's potential driver for the Indy 500 this year is Max Papis, although the entry hasn't been confirmed yet, and with the current field at 33, there's a slim chance of it happening.)
Don't count Priestly out as a driver. He did finish 2nd in his first career Indy Pro Series race. He also did some SCCA stuff back in the late 90s, as well as run in the fame & fortune-filled Gumball rally. He has the skills, just now, he's sold his soul to a plastic wheel.
