They both suck horribly for one.
In fact I'll go further and say the entire 2nd half of that game was big slab of meh. Weak endings, 3 or 4 different enemies the entire freakin game, weak combat and predictable story (least I thought it was)
And yes I do realize I'm one of the very few who thinks bioshock was extremely overrated

Very cool! I'm looking to get a PS3 at some point in addition to the Wii, 360, and DS I have, so this would be great if it's one of those 'improved versions' that actually lives up to the billing. I'd be interested to hear exactly what the DLC would be. I'm looking for any reason to inch me towards enjoying R&C on PS3, this is a big help! SCHWEET!

wow, I totally agree with ninja, you seem really hateful towards anything playstation. I never understood fanboys who hate a console soooooo much . They are all just game consoles right? Who cares if games go multi-plat, its inevitable that alot of no 1st party developers will take games multi-plat when contracts expire. Bioshock isn't owned by microsoft, it was temporarily bought by them, but its not an exclusive contract. Its going to be amusing to watch xbox fanboys like premierASS over the next year implode as Sony releases AAA title after AAA exclusive title and as games like bioshock and mass effect move over to the PS3 arena. You boys get so defensive over a piece of garbage hardware with purchased temporary exclusive games and haloz 2.5 . Xbox360 is obviously (to anybody rational) destined for 3rd place in this console generation. Its a matter of time.

@embassy Mass Effect was planned from the start to be a trilogy and so there isn't a Mass Effect franchise just Mass Effect, in time there may be a Mass Effect franchise but for now there is just Mass Effect.
As for Bioshock on BS3 it wouldn't be as good as the 360 version if it does happen, the controller wouldn't do as good a job and the frame rate would lick leopard balls, and the rest of the graphics would be sub-Wii graphics (not to say the Wii's graphics suck but they are last gen graphics).

Well I think you have a better chance of hell freezing over than seeing a Sony funded MGS 4 on a 360 new release wall ... It will never happen ... ever ... Bioshock could come to the PS3 just like Lost Planet & Ninja Gaiden did but it probably won't sell all that well unless they add a multiplayer component ...

I haven't had the time/money to grab all the greats from the last year or so, so it's cool with me. Looks like uncle sam hit my wallet too much this year to upgrade the PC so im letting it die, and just making the most of my PS3.

PLEASE do NOT spoil the beautiful system that PS3 is becomming by dirtying it with this shoddy excuse for a game. Played it on PC and tried it on 360 and believe me you are missing NOTHING other than vast amounts of hype. There are better games from 5 years ago (In gameplay and execution).
Bioshock has it's plus points but overall it's a tired, repetitve, boring, scruffy, overhyped experience that should just DIE not port to other consoles.
BTW the PC version that I owned was a disaster, I'd expect the PS3 version to be no better unless it's given more respect and a version is built to take advantage of it's key point.

Meh. The PS3 has more good games than I can afford (and I'm not poor). So, I'm not denying myself anything by getting a PS3. In fact, I get all the gaming I want, plus a blu-ray player, plus built in wifi, plus built in bluetooth for wireless keyboard and mouse (useful with the built in web browser), plus remote play from my PSP, and to top it all off, as I type, I'm backing up my PS3 to an external hard drive, so I can upgrade it to 750 gigs (a hard drive I bought for the same price as the 360's 120 gig hard drive).
So, really, what am I missing? Cross game invites and cross game text chat? Meh. That'll come sometime. I'm certainly not dying to have it, and you know what? It's not worth $50 a year.

I half agree with you Goonie. Me and a friend went halfs on a PS3. I am so freaking pissed off at myself for wasting my hard earned money on that POS that I can't freaking see straight. Just look at my rant below to see what I hate. I still don't get what is so freaking fantastic about a free service with dedicated servers. As soon as the game stops making money, they will kill off the servers. We've seen that before. But I'm the type of person that still plays UT with mods.
Right now, I can't justify anyone getting both a PS3 and 360, but maybe... MAYBE if Sony pulls their heads out of their anus' I will be able to agree.

I'm not deluded. Why would I pay $530 + $50 a year for an XBox for the three or so exclusive games that are worth anything? Seems like a huge waste of money, that's like 9 more games I could buy. (Yes 530 - the true cost of an XBox 360, since you need the elite for the bigger hard drive, and you need an $80 USB connector for wifi).

Jesus Christ, that's all you 360 fanboys seem to be doing in response. I ask you...HOW would something like this happening end your world of put a dent in your beloved system. And, umm...how much worth does the word "never" have in gaming these days? We've heard it before with many games, only to have the opposite happen (besides Valve, but we know that Gabe Newell can only learn PS3 code if he can lay off the buffet after his 30th plate).
The fact that this time 2K didn't come out and deny this one like they have defiantly so many times before to other rumors should tell you something. It's a month or so old, yet there is nothing denying this.
Regardless, though, PLEASE stop all this whining that you're "losing" an exclusive, because...why is it a big deal if a different platform gets a year old game? If it's "sloppy seconds", then why the hell are you so scared about it appearing on the PS3?

Jesus Christ, that's all you 360 fanboys seem to be doing in response. I ask you...HOW would something like this happening end your world of put a dent in your beloved system. And, umm...how much worth does the word "never" have in gaming these days? We've heard it before with many games, only to have the opposite happen (besides Valve, but we know that Gabe Newell can only learn PS3 code if he can lay off the buffet after his 30th plate).
The fact that this time 2K didn't come out and deny this one like they have defiantly so many times before to other rumors should tell you something. It's a month or so old, yet there is nothing denying this.
