WRUP: IV days to go edition

This is it, folks. It's the last stop, the final hurdle before the launch of Grand Theft Auto IV. All we have to do is make it through the weekend and Monday (and Tuesday morning if you don't have the stomach for midnight launches), and we can all get our grubby little meat hooks on Rockstar's latest. That's three days to fill with something, anything that will pass the time. What will it be for you?

I'll play Halo 3 and COD 4.

COD4 probably... Maybe Paradise and Eragon (hey it was 2 bucks...dont look at me like that!)

Rock Band and a little Halo. And lots and lots of school work. Finals FTW!

Condemned (I'll finish it soon enough). TMNT for cheevo farming. Maybe crack open Condemned 2.

I really am excited for GTA... all that's left is the RROD! hahaha! Expect to hear that story from many people, maybe me... maybe even YOU.

Most of those stories will be nerdgasm PS3 fanboys tryig to score some hits against no DLC for them Oh and No Live oh and the fact their fingers will be hurting after 5 hours of this game ;)

I'd be careful saying that (knock on wood) My 360 give me the RROD just as Halo 3 came out!

Yeah, my GF's Xbox just died last night. I feel the reckoning upon me. I'm ready for Xbox number 4!!!

I will be playing COD4 trying to get to level 55 before Tuesday. I'm currently at level 52 so not far to go!

Madden, NBA 2k8, and some RBSV 2

But mostly just watchin the NBA playoffs. GO SPURS!!

X3F should report that IGN has reviewed GTAIV and gave it a perfect 10 in all categories.

After seeing a PERFECT 10 on IGN, that just made the wait even harder =( ... Im going to watch any new movies that are out...(All of them) and beat any old GTA games I have.... That should be some good time consumers eh?

If I have a little time, probably Burn Out Paradise, but ToW is taking pretty much all of life right now :-)

I don't believe this game deserves a 10/10. No game is perfect, and even in their review they say certain parts aren't perfect......9.9, sure, but 10/10 is just not realistic.

10/10 is not rly saying perfect, everyone knows nothing can be perfect so 10/10 is rly just saying this game is so good no one should deprive them selfs of not playing it :)

at least imo, after all there have been lots of games to get 10/10

I'm having a Halo 3 party, 3 HD projectors will 100" screens with 11 of my buddies. Likely play a little GTA 2 on my PC for a little nostalgia!

Probably Shadowrun, Vegas 2, and TF2. May fire up a little Unreal 2004 for shits n giggles. Also glancing over at my copy of Postal. Probably play a few minutes of Mario Kart on Sunday.

Oh and Ikaruga again if I can find anyone to co-op with.

I've been playing Bully:Scholarship Edition and RSV2. I'm fairly surprised at how much I like Bully, I was picturing it differently.

arent the loading times in Bully ridiculous though? I've been playing it and love it, but the insane amount of loading screens, is driving me crazy!

HOMEWORK!!!!! Ugh I wish this would have come out sooner. First its Launch day and the very next are finals. I need to catch up right away and study. Because I sure as hell won't be up for it after 4-29-08

I've been playing old rockstar games to get myself back in the mood for it. Been playing the first Manhunt, GTA:III/VC/SA, Bully Scholarship Edition.

Also plenty of Tekken 5: Dark Resurection on PS3 as it's a great game ;)

I need to finish up Burnout Paradise, but CoD4 is calling me very strongly. Plus I havent tried out the new Halo3 maps, so might give that a go. Is it worth the $10 for the Halo maps?

I will be playing some Rock band, TF2 and maybe get some Half life 2 in between my study breaks. Conveniently, my last exam is Tuesday morning.

Ikaruga, GRAW2, maybe some Halo, and Oblivion might tempt me a bit... it's been so long... I think since my red ring hit.

Does anyone have that problem... where you are right in the middle of a great game and you get ther RROD and when your console returns, you have no desire to play anymore?

Yeah, serious !!, I have been playing jericho a few days, when I am off work.
Its way better than a lot of other first person shooters, I just love a good story, and the action button sequences, are a nice thing - but its almost like watching a movie - try and play it a bit slow, and watch your team fight also, some times - great, and overlooked gem - wish somebody would make a site with overlooked games ;-)

I will probably give GTA:SA a spin for a while. I have never, EVER wanted a game as bad as I do GTA IV. I simply can't stand the wait.

Replaying San Andreas for the millionth time, playing Audiosurf and staring at the clock screaming "Why isn't it Tuesday yet!?!?!?"
