As I was watching that earlier all I could think was how much I wanted to see it in a wrestling or MMA game. It's just made for it.

This, this is the physic's engine I've been waiting for. Finally an end to bodies just falling to the ground, instead of reacting realistically.

Yeah those ragdoll physics in Skate were a joke. You bumped into a curb just a little too fast and your skater would just drop dead. I really want to see this in GTA4, but I've told myself I would avoid all game footage videos. My only concern is that as Euphoria becomes more advanced and used to control ultra realistic characters we may end up becoming virtual pacifists so as not too inflict pain on those poor defenseless citizens of wherever.

The developers could save 25% of their costs by removing the extra "U" in behaviour.

This is one of the Few Next gen technologies, out there, the only other one I can think of is the original Radiant AI (The crap packaged with Oblvion is no where near the original AI). I can't wait til someone notices these two technologies and puts one and one together, imagine the possibilities, NPCs playing sports cause they feel like it, An NPC sitting beneath a tree playing with butterflies, the possibilities are endless. next TES5 better have both these things or someones gonna die.

No keyframe animations? Isn't that slightly bullshit? I am sorry the little ragdoll did not come up with his own behaviors. I've always heard that Euphoria blends ragdoll with animation. So they animator will animate a set frame of animation but the entire animation itself would be a key frame, so it walking and it reaching out before dieing will be its key frames but everything in the middle will be calculated by the computer. So it's behavior would be different very time, but not necessarily the animation.

wonder how this compares with killzone2's hit response system?

uncharted had really nice animation when you shoot enemies on any particular limb. headshots were the best
