I second that. Add euphoria or GTFO EA.

They really do need to add Euphoria. And they said they've made huge leaps in terms of graphics. Really? Only difference I see in the new screens is that Brett Favre actually looks like a quarterback and not a tight end.

Don't they try to sell us on new "awesome" features every year and doesn't it always turn out to be an utter disappointment?

I can't stand chris "I was the best football player ever you are lucky to be in the same room as me" collinsworth. NO SALE!!!

I've been in Madden online football leagues for years, no thanks to EA. Us football junkies do it our own way.

We are in our 13th season.

Like the leagues, hate the announcers. Why the hell cant they just get Madden to do the commentary.

Hearing that, HC. I've always thought he sounds like Garfield. If he ever asks Al Michaels to go get some lasagna - warning...

whatever. i still wont buy it. the games are always too glitchy for me. plus the fact that i suck at it doesnt help the cause either lol.

its weird though, i love watching football, i love (and was pretty damn good at) playing football, but i cant for the life of me grasp playing Madden. i can usually hang and keep it close til around the third quarter and then i get spanked. only one i was really good at was 07 on Wii and thats just cause there was no defense to speak of and i could hit a deep corner route to T.O. every possession for almost a guaranteed score.

I will remain cautiously optimistic instead of flaming madden like these other people here. I am a huge football fan, an if they can fix the problems with the franchise, then they could have the most solid sports game out there. The only things wrong with 08 IMO' was the constant fumbling, the stupid penalties and the awful ea sports radio announcing. 08 would have been a great game other than that. So I will be the first to say that I am excited about 09, besides, with it being and anniversary edition, they're kind obligated to put effort into it. The rest f you guys, who probably don't play the game and never will, stop commenting on here, because your wasting your time, and mine.

Now shouldn't that be done...every year.

really though madden has been terrible the last few years and the fact that there is no competition makes it worse. whats pushing them to make it better?

WTF!!!! Madden Football but let's have two other people calling the game and adding the color commentary, why have Madden do it? C'mon get back to the way it should be with Madden doing color and analysis and Michaels calling the game, we're stuck with this game, we should have it the way we want it, not the way the producers want it.

Come on now folks. Be nice. You all know you're just waiting for the release date to finally break down and buy the game anyway.

For me, I haven't bought Madden since I was given a choice. When the actually FIX Madden and make it fun to do something other than chuck it downfield, then I'll care about anything they say.

And what is this new buzzword? Are the FINALLY copying VIP?

I have been waiting for this feature for years now. Ever since I first started playing Madden online in 2003, I have been itching for the implementation of online leagues in the Madden NFL franchise.
I am an online fiend. Ever since I was exposed to online play, I dont even touch the Franchise or Owner modes.
Anyone can master and beat the computer, but you cant beat every live Maddenite thats out there and thats what makes Madden's online play so exciting. Cant wait!

Madden was already one of the toughest games on the market, now they add "football intelligence" that has been there for years .. sheesh. Perhaps now I'll be able to beat my son who lives for this game.

Stats of last year's game were off when compared to actual numbers. Check if this years are closer to accurate.
