I'm sure the "birthday points" are only redeemable in his bedroom.

I think you mean conversion rate, not conversation rate.

I wonder what the conversation rate would be, though! I mean, come on, its on a birthday cake! That's bound to start some conversations. And maybe his wife made it to draw his attention away from the Xbox - in effect, converting the cake into an opportunity for conversation...

You're making the mistake of assuming we favor you in some way.

I like the MS points. Makes it so I can get the dumb cards on the cheap (free 1600 points with purchase, some kind of crazy discount at the merchant who sells the cards, etc). Makes it so I can get some Rock Band stuff at "half price" or so, while my PS3 friend has to pay the actual $2 or whatev and never get a deal on em.
And cake is yummy

I thought this was going to be some new program Microsoft is running. It would be kinda cool if they gave you they amount of points for whatever year you were turning. (19, 25, 32 etc) Or if they were feeling really generous they could give you 10x the year you were turning (190, 250, 320 etc). That would cost them millions per year though probably.

Did he mean to say "conversation rate" or did he make a mistake? Anyway, I'm thinking of having my brother get my family to do this for my birthday this year. That cake looks appetizing, lie or no lie.
