You may remember that, back in the spring of 2007, we had what one might call a total crush on the zombie-killing survival game, The Last Stand. Now, almost a year to the day after we first brought word of it, the game has risen from its grave and begun shambling towards us with The Last Stand 2.
Though it's not a huge leap forward graphically, there are some significant improvements, especially to the daylight time-management part of the game. Now you'll be able to move from city to city as you try to survive the zombie apocalypse with your ragtag group of survivors, deciding exactly how much time (and where) they'll hunt for new weapons and others still among the living. Traps have also been added, which give the combat a little more depth. If you haven't checked it out (especially if you haven't played the first game) you absolutely need to.

I remember the original was pretty fun. I'm not sure you "absolutely need to" play it, but a great way to kill time at work.

There was a fighting game in development, but after hearing a game developer speaker @ a conference; he changed gears and started working on the sequel to The Last Stand.
There was a short article about his other game here:

i really liked it, but 3 things almost broke the game.
1. shots sometimes go through one person and hit the zombie behind them. annoying when their attacking your barricade.
2.AI has no interest in shooting people off barricade, fairly narrow shoot range.
3. no ability to move survivors, to the middle or sides.

They are mindless zombies in a flash game, were you expecting squad based tactics where they flush you out with grenades, though that would be pretty awesome.
The first one is one of the best flash games around.

I actually just discovered this series yesterday at work. For a flash game it's a lot of fun. Sure I have my complaints but I don't expect much from free flash games. A good time waster when I should be working.
