eh, should still be fun. But, I could do without the cell shaded graphics. Looks a bit too much like SF4's art-style for me...

The cell-shading is for testing purposes only, cell-shaded graphics aren't as big as fully rendered models, making them much better to test out the engine. Knowing Ubisoft and what they've done graphically with Assassin's creed, it should look pretty darn good!

I hope you're right, Bouille. But, UBI has done some weird stuff in the past so I wouldn't put it past them.

I've always liked the PoP series but I don't it has too much steam left after the Sands of Time. It wasn't a bad game but it wasn't that good either.

true the later ones were worse than the first.
but Jordan mechner (POP creator) only worked on POP:SOT.
and if the rumor is correct that jordan was the one that registered the Price of persia site and infered designer of it. I could see it be good again.

I like the Okami-ish visuals. Should be badass.

Hmm...I'm a little on the fence as far as the art style goes. Looks good for sure but I'll save judgment until I 1) see the game in motion and 2) see if the style matches the tone of the game.

But I do have to say that I dig the new prince's design.

Sands of Time was a story being told by the prince, and it was the best of that trilogy. If they can pull off the same thing, but with artsy story book graphics, then I think they're going in the right direction.

I always thought Two Thrones was the best one -- they toned down the generic rage from Warrior Within (which was still a great platformer), allowed you to skip most of the combat and even tossed in some kick-ass boss battles.

I always wanted to play Two Thrones but I bought Rival swords instead A.K.A the Wii port and the controls are awful.I wonder why there isn't a collection set like MGS:E I would buy it just to play Two Thrones with good controls.

I love POP series because the story and the action are always great unlike AC ¬_¬

I love POP series I hope someday we get a remake of the Shadow and the flame something like the one in the xlive would be awesome.

I definitely agree there! Two Thrones was the best to me. Sands of Time focused too heavily on puzzles, WW focused too heavily on fighting. Two Thrones was a perfect mix of the two to me.

Loved all three games, but not liking the cell-shaded graphics. *sad face*

Sands of Time was way better than Two Thrones.

Okamii style visuals and PoP gameplay would rock. Having more possible routes through the environment would be nice too.

Taking away the "reverse time" effect is a TERRIBLE idea though. In a game with sudden death falls its the only thing that stops the game becoming annoying.

I know it'd be hard to incorporate from a storyline point of view.. but frankly they could ignore it. Its a lot less intrusive than most other gameplay elements like checkpoints and load/save... and those have no storyline justification either. (well, except in SoT ;-) )

I think every game should have a rewind time option. I don't have enough time in my life these days to waste hours replaying the same level over and over...
