Chart-Track estimates GTA IV broke UK sales record
The "official" Chart-Track sales data will release on May 6, with the current data being based on electronic point of sale and retailer estimates. We're still waiting for Take-Two to send out a press release trumpeting its global success.

Fanboy comment: Considering that GTA was THE playstation game last generation, this is quite an emasculation of PS by MS. Or shall I say MSculation! Oh, where is Ludwig when I need him.

Now europe as a whole may be a different story with the PS3 gaining steadily (as a whole) But still a great showing on both consoles by GTA IV
