If the economy collapses or there is a terrorist attack don't get on the trains that are suppose to take you to food, water, and vaccine. You can watch a few news reports here including video of the FEMA camps:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=PCaAZovyJ7w

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxYxTly-yo8&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wdTOBWa-Xg

The government has gotten rid of the Posse Comitatus Act which says the military can police on American soil. There are executive orders 10990-11921 that say during a national emergency that the government can take over farms, communications, transportation, force people into work brigades, etc.

They have already practiced martial law in 3 states. They are arming 3 million cops including giving police in Boston and other places black uniforms and machine guns to make them more intimidating when they knock on people's doors. They had 1000 Pentagon operatives pose in the media as credible experts. They have trained 50,000 preachers to quell dissent. It was 25,000 preachers last year. They have 800 FEMA camps built!

There are also rumors of red/blue lists if martial law is announced. Registered gun owners and activists are on the red list. Martial law could be a gradual thing or all-or-once but it needs to be reported. They are running FEMA drills, NORAD was running drills during 9/11 so there might or might not be a terrorist attack or national emergency announced during those times. I know it sounds out there but so did Hitler's rise to power. If you look into it you will find all the evidence supporting my claims.

That's all very well and good, but that entire post had nothing to do with GTA4, Jack Thompson, or gaming in general.

Besides, anyone who's played MGS2 knows that our government is but a puppet government run by The Patriots.
/sarcasm....or is it?

Furthermore, Ill tell you what I tell everyone else that comes to me with these "the government is out to kill/rape/control/steal my cheese" theories. You dont like it in America? No one is forcing you to stay here, leave. Go on, get out. Move to Africa, or Cambodia, or China. Spend a few weeks there and you will realize your damn lucky to live in a country like the U.S. And if you like it better there, then stay.

Holy wall of text there.
And none of it is relevant to the actual topic.

Back to the big bad Jackie-boy there,
Silly J.T...tricks are for kids,
Grand Theft Auto is for adults,
and stupidity is for you.

He does make me laugh a little though.

anyway...back on topic here guys....Jack Thompson doesn't really hate videogames, it's all an act. He does it for press and attention, and probably for fun. He probably loves to see the over the top hateful reactions from the gamers out there who take him too seriously. He's just pretending to be the villain, it's just his thing.

The only thing this is 'evidence' of is that our court system has failed us... That is, they've failed to (rightly) evict Mr. Thompson from his post, which means he's still doing at least well enough that he can buy a $60 game.

:(

How remarkably off topic this thread has gone.

I'll try on-topic. I'm going to assume the evidence is that his underage son bought the game without being carded or something and he can prove it.

Honestly, did no one else really post that?

Then that's the fault of the store, right? It's rated "M" so the only thing he can really go after is the store itself and not Take 2. I don't think he would bother to just go after the store because he's been trying to take down T2 for years.

Wouldn't the spawn be of age now? If the last sting (for GTA:SA) was in 2005 when he was 15, he would have to be at least 17 and therefore at the proper age to buy a M-rated game.

There is no way that a grown man should be this obsessed. He's what the biz calls an ambulance chaser. Any "evidence" this guy finds will be offset by his reputation of lying and disbarment.

Maybe I should email JT some evidence of my own. Evidence that shows moms, dads, and grandma's standing in line at release to buy their under age kids this game. Just like they did for Vice City, San Andreas before this.

At first JT angered me, because I just thought he was in it for the publicity, but now, I feel sorry for him. I think this poor man actually he's making a difference. Thats just sad. He's obsessed. He effected his job, his reputation, and pretty much only the shady news dealings of FOX will even talk to him anymore. He's literally ruined his life to stop something (kids buying M-rated games without their parents knowledge) that rarely ever happens. Someday, this dude is going to look back and say, "what did I do to my life".

Joystick- Please stop reporting on this guy. Its like buying an alchoholic 'one more beer'.

FYI - He has not been disbarred as of yet.

Also, I don't know if you're a lawyer (I am), but the lawyers we call ambulance chasers are the ones that see an accident or funeral and run to pass out cards. This guy, as wrong as he may be, is just obsessed with an issue.

That is photoshopped. Look at the difference between the head and the body. It is still pretty funny though, and is either a clever joke or an attempt by PS3 fanboys to subvert the purchase of GTAIV for the 360. Though this seems a little too subtle for fanboy antics given that there is no swearing and no one is calling anyone gay.

Would the "evidence" be the fact that the picture also includes a rated "M" logo on the cover?
I don't understand how he justifies going after this game time and time again. Would you go after a movie studio that makes rated "R" movies that are intended only for adults?

It's interesting that he would contact you guys in such a weird manner. This type of activity is not uncommon for someone who is socially unstable and is often attributed to stalkers. It could even be considered a formal warning of a forthcoming threat (violent or otherwise).

This could even be in violation of some harassment/extortion laws. If you have an attorney, I'd definitely make them aware of it in case this requires action to be taken.

I have an idea for great photoshops, quickly, somebody make this into a promotional poster for random stuff!

I'd do it myself, but I suck at photoshopping.

P.S. Thompson (and his psycho grin) + Bag of Doritos = hilarious.

You are directing energy to him that he does not warrant or deserve. You are advertising his face next to the most prominent sought after entertainment property of the year! Put his emails in the SPAM filter already.

And what's he going to do now that it's the BEST SELLING GAME EVER? I mean, even if there were some cosmic alignment of planets and he got GTA IV banned or censored somehow, it would be pointless because there are at least 13 million copies in the hands of gamers right now -- Perhaps more-- and he can't retroactively disable our discs.

It's out, Jack. You can't stop it. You can't bring down Take2, either, since they now have enough money to make you disappear forever. Even if you had a case with merit (which you don't, at least in America, because of our freedoms) you'd STILL fail because there's no way in hell you can beat a company with enough money to make the courts laugh you out of existence.

Seriously, Jack. Stop being such a dick. You can't win, and now you're starting to slip to the point of seeming like a complete crazy man.

But hey, go ahead and use your "evidence" to make a list of all the things you and God find offensive in GTA IV. I'll even start you off:

Hookers
Making fun of Republicans
Simulated sex between digital drawings
Strip club where you can watch drawings dance nearly nude
Swear words everywhere! Oh my!
Katt Williams (he was a pimp, Jack.)
Murder plots where you're asked to "kill" a collection of pixels.

Of course, you'll completely overlook the fact that-- if you want to-- you can play the game without killing people, having sex with hookers, or going to the strip club. You can spend all your time driving a cab, and having a meaningful relationship with Michelle. You go on dates (bowling, dinner, etc.) and drive people to their destination. You never even need to pick up a gun. You CAN play this game without doing anything offensive.

But if you do kill people or have sex in the game, Jack, it's NOT REAL and most of us in the really-real world understand the difference between a collection of pixels and a real person.

It's becoming clear that you do not.
