Nintendo releases first Mario Kart Wii tournament

Nintendo has announced the launch of worldwide Mario Kart Wii Tournaments, which will be coming every few weeks. The first one, available now, is a competition for fastest time on Mario Circuit. "Look closely though," said the press release, "something may be different." (For whatever reason, we haven't been able to get online to see what difference there might be.)

Best times will be recorded and viewed on worldwide rankings. Future tournaments might also include collecting coins and Wii Wheel-specific challenges.

THIS IS THE BEST MARIO KART EVER, HANDS DOWN! COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO WAS A FANATIC OF THE SNES & N64 VERSIONS. THEY DEF TOOK IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH ONLINE PLAY, AND ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT (OR HAS NO INTERNET). When will there be an official world championship?

Hello, my name is Rob Disk and I represent The Ninja.
This guy is probably the best and fastest player(he's a player!)in the world. I want him to compete in professional tournements, he got all times beat that are mentioned on this site.
So where can we get more professionel ? I'm thinking sponsor contracts for The Ninja..
