$5 to $8 is too expensive for a simple game where all you so is pop bubbles. Nic Watt thinks that this game will be somewhere between an NES and a SNES game? Really? I think I'd rather play some classic Super Mario Brothers or Legend of Zelda than pop bubbles. Thanks.

Agreed.

Popping bubbles (VIRTUAL bubbles!) shouldn't cost people 5-8 bucks. I'd actually consider buying it if I felt the urge to pop bubbles for probably 2 bucks max.

For something that looks little more than an interactive screen saver, or a single game that would be on Wii Play, I think 5-8 is kinda ripping people off... especially considering what 5-8 bucks will buy you as far as other wii ware games. I mean.. seriously.. would you rather have this or either one of high voltage's wii ware games?

I suspect this will be a nice "oh that was entertaining" bits for 10 minutes, and then you're never compelled to come back and play it again.

Orion's got it right.

Wii Play minus Wii-Remote = $10.

Therefore, Pop should cost $2 tops.

Hey, we all need to get paid. But this seems something more fit for a cell phone and what are the typical prices for cell phone games? Two bucks? Bejeweled is comparable I think and that was a $1.99 download. If you want the computer version though it's about $20. Hmmm.

$5-$8 does sound a bit extravagent but it's also a multi-player game so ... I don't know. I'd charge that much if I made it!

This would be a good time to have WiiWare demos. Pop and that Pro Beanbag throwing game look interesting, but not quite interesting enough for me to spend money on at the moment. I'd probably have to have some hands on time to be convinced.

I hate to say this, but Pop really belongs in a mini-game collection, like Wii Play. In my opinion, it's not worth a penny by itself.

I'm looking forward to World of Goo as well, but I think it's going to cost a lot more than $8.
