Dead Rising star shows up in Lost Planet Colonies

One way to re-sell last year's game again is to add a scantily clad babe (and by "babe" we mean "hunk") to the cast of playable characters. Capcom has done just that, importing Dead Rising star Frank West sans clothes (talk about extreme conditioning!) into the repackaged and budget priced Lost Planet: Colonies Edition. But why stop there? We can't be the only ones curious to see (strictly on a scientific level, of course) how Mega Man's unarmed body reacts to the cold.
Head into our gallery to check out all 17 new screens featuring a mysterious (and clothed) female character, plus hot and potentially gooey "Akrid Hunt" action:

Does this mean there will be a version of Dead Rising for PS3? New content? New content for the 360 then? A sequel? PLEASE?

As far as I know, this version of Lost Planet isn't coming out on the PS3 so I'm guessing no.

This was on the PC version is well. That's why.
They're really ripping everyone off with this Colonies version. All the stuff they are adding is the kind of stuff good companies (Epic, Valve...) give out for free.
And they're not even selling it as an expansion-- these minor additions are costing an entire game's price.

um, it's coming out for $30, that's half a game's price in this gen. And if you're not into it... don't buy it?
Seriously I don't understand whining about this release/the price, why don't you vote with your dollars and not buy it instead of pissing and moaning on joystiq? I promise you Capcom listens more to your wallet than your blog comments. Also... honestly, are you not familiar with Capcom at all? You act like milking a title isn't something they're famous for.... You know there's a version of Street Fighter 2 on XBLA and another one on the way in addition to the dozens of previous release of said game.... right? Don't act shocked.

I agree. Dead Rising is one of my all-time favorite games. I've had so much fun playing that. Still have to get that 7 Day Survivor after two failed attempts. One of these days...

This is almost better than the Duke Nukem waterworld picture. Keep up the good work Joystiq

Jeff, I'm not sure they could have added all of these extras via DLC but like AoE said, this isn't coming out at $60. It's like a Director's cut (only added features instead of added footage) for those that missed out on LP the first time.
