Dang IT! I love Muse, these songs need to be in Rock Band, not GHIII.

Oh my gosh SoxFan13, You are so right.
GHIII gets good songs but they are so few and far between. Rock band gets songs all the time, but they vary in style, so one week you want a song, the next you don't. I wish they would come out with more songs each week from different time periods and styles of music. This way there is always something for everyone.
Rock band is a better game however, and deserves more good music, and 1 album a month is not enough either.

I agree.. this is bittersweet. I love Muse, and want to buy, but have sworn off buying packs for GH (I started my own boycott after the controller BS, just let it work for all games Activision). That and the fact that I'd rather play RB, I'm tired of being limited in every way by GH.. RB is much more open and a better game, wish this came out for my fav of the 2. I'm at an impasse.
I guess I'll just have wait for Hysteria to finally drop on RB. Hopefully the numbers will show (whoever needs to see them), that they should release more Muse on RB.

Agreed, but atleast RockBand has Hysteria coming soon.
Wish it had these songs too though, The Tony Hawk guys do not know how to make notecharts and they will probably ruin these songs like so many others.

WTF? GHIII? I was so happy when I saw Muse and DLC and now that I see it's not Rock Band I cry. This sucks. I'm not wasting my money on DLC for that crap game... SH*T!

Speaking of which, can anybody explain to me why there's so much hate for this GH3?
Rock Band is pretty much Guitar Hero X 3 yet everybody is getting a really big stiffy over that game. You didn't get your "favourite band" for RB? Beat it and stop trolling.

Yeah, I'll explain it to you... Rock Band is a lot more fun. More people, better note charts (doesn't put unnecessary three-fret chords all over the place), better presentation, a lot more (and constantly increasing) DLC, etc., etc. I bought GHIII and thought RB was going to suck but the second I played RB it was painfully obvious I was completely wrong. The only things GH has going for it right now is their guitars are better (the Strat for RB absolutely sucks - the LP is buggy and breaks a lot but when it's working it's a thing of beauty) and Muse. Hopefully we get full albums for Muse on RB.

To each his own I guess. To me, the only thing Rock Band has is the extra instruments. I never really dug the drums or the mic though, and find the guitar far superior in GH.
I like GH's harder note charts but more forgiving timing style. When I play GH, I feel like I'm rocking out. In Rock Band, you have to anal retentively press the notes at exactly the right time or it doesn't count. Add in that because it involves other instruments the guitar parts of the Rock Band songs are often difficult to hear and when I play Rock Band it doesn't feel like I'm playing a guitar, it feels like I'm playing simon says with some buttons while some unrelated music plays in the background.
The complaints about the extra notes and 3-note chords are born of idiots, because those only become an issue on expert difficulty which is basically a difficulty that doesn't exist in Rock Band (GH's hard = RB's expert). Don't like them? Just play on hard and pretend expert doesn't exist, because in Rock Band it doesn't. If Rock Band had a "super expert" mode that was meant to match GH's expert mode it would be the same thing with the 3-note chords, etc.
Rock Band is great for the multiplayer and DLC. But when it comes to the actual guitar gameplay it's not even close imho. I think if Rock Band was the first music game I had ever played I never would have gotten into the genre because I like kicking back and rocking out, not staring at the notes so hard that my eyes strain because I'm worried that I'm going to miss pressing the button by .00001 seconds (and even when you do miss it you can't tell half the time since RB has no sound effects and doesn't seem to have the tracks broken up properly on some songs).

I'd be happy if they'd just release more of the GH1 songs for GH2 or GH3. GH1 had great tracklist.
