I don't think Devon Hestor was the first to do this (I think it was Nathan Basher) but this should have been in there for a while. Too bad they still don't have JOHN MADDEN or Al Michaels doing the commentary.

Wow I hate how people think it was hester or vasher. Chris McAllister was the first to do it for the ravens. After he did it Vasher did it

Its funny how you all have made claims that are wrong. Aaron Glenn of the Jets did it before all of those guys in 1998. Unlike you guys I'm not gonna say he was the first, someone probably did it before him as well.

It always annoyed me that they simply left some smaller rules out. Do they have free kicks in yet? Or the ability to onside kick after a safety? They're just ignoring some rules that, although aren't used often, are important and do change games.

Now on FIFA? Even longer breaks for penalty kicks to decided the winner. Choose your method to fake your injury. Kicked in the ankle, or pushed in the back...

*sigh*
Why does this iteration of Madden look so less promising than years past? I know they do a great job with the good ol' hype machine ... but this year I'm not feeling the tingle to waste $60 on the same fucking game.

because as Americans we can pronounce anything however we want. Take 'aluminum' for example. Say aluminum to a Brit and they'll cringe.

A missed field goal... Whats the official ruling on that? I remember going to a Charger game and seeing this happen. The kicker kicked and it was short. started coming down at around the 5 yard line. It was cought and the player started running it back for a touchdown. Right at the 20 yard line the Refs started blowing their whistles and ruled the ball as dead. I was like What! So i guess since Madden is the Offical game of the NFL its OK?
