I concur, the Windows Start button is a total killjoy. Should be replaced with either a Playstation icon or the Apple key. Otherwise, this is the sexist console I've ever seen and the BEST mockup of a PSP EVER!!!!!!!

This will be great for when Sony and Apple finally stop playing hard to get and just join forces. Yes, it will happen and we'll have the iPlay or the Plapple. No? Well you certainly can't call it the AppleStation. Might as well call it FruitStand... wait...

why would they need Apple? Sony already makes amazing hardware, and their software is also wonderful, I'm in fraeking love with the XMB, its one of the simplest interfaces I have seen...

I agree with Noshino. Hardware is the one thing Sony excels at. Software, on the other hand... isn't bad, but I consider it the worst of the three. I still own and enjoy the PSP as much as my DS though. It's good to have variety.

First people say Apple and Nintendo will merge, then Apple and Sony...

Knock it off, alright? Your fanboy wet dreams aren't gonna come to fruition any time soon.

You guys are slow when has apple ever made anything specificly tailored for gaming?

Like it or no Xbox & the Xbox360 XMB's can be held up with the best console XMB's...

So if Nintendo and Microsoft joined forces to compete with the newly formed Apple-Sony.

Who would win?

FOXHOUND,

You can actually get the camera and GPS, altho the GPS doesn't work on the US...

As far the keyboard goes, it was never hyped by Sony, and not until recently they actually announced about it...

Platinum_Skeet

"You guys are slow when has apple ever made anything specificly tailored for gaming?"

That's exactly why they were saying that Apple should unite with Sony?....

"Like it or no Xbox & the Xbox360 XMB's can be held up with the best console XMB's..."

Xbox and the XMB? you do know that XMB is Cross Media Bar, the interface of the PS3 and PSP...and yes, the XMB is ones of the best interfaces out there

I agree, the Sony/Apple merge is enough to deal with, the Windows logo makes it almost obscene. good job though, I'd buy one.

my only complaint is the battery indicator. I wish all handheld device could just give me a battery % like a laptop. 1-100. If My cell phone has 2 of 3 bars left, thats not exactly helpful.

I'm alright with the PSP's indicator. Even the DS's "Red means it's dead!" works alright. The part that bothers me is the location of the PSP's battery light. My thumb covers it.

Sony needs to make that as the PSP2 because that looks awesome.

I could see so many great things for that version of the PSP2.

They're awful to use on the real PSP, too. At least this one put them in spots where they're less awful.

And, yes, I would pay good money for that thing. Too bad it'd probably be like a grand in the real world.

It runs on wind power, fanboys generate a ton of it daily, per capita. Just go to GameFaqs and open up the top. Totally free energy, but it does produce a ton of pollution.

"But what about Chin-Poh?"
"Nobody cares about you!"

I own the entire series on DVD and I watch it all the way through at least 2 times a year 'cause I'm a freak (not all at once but over a period of several weeks). Even my wife, who normally doesn't care for shows like YYH, enjoys it although I think it's mostly because she has a crush on Kurama ;)

It's the Sony Ux-umpc mashed up with the psp! No sidekick or mylo integration but the extra analog looks good but looking at it now seems uncomfortable to play for long periods of time. I have both a Ux(380n) and a psp slim and would have to agree if this the next psp I'm in.

Way to ruin the iPhone/iPod interface with cumbersome buttons too.

Silver PSP >>>>> Black PSP

Funny how some guy with Photoshop can show up a billion dollar corporation.

But, really... if they can afford a sliding LCD, they can afford a touchscreen. If they have a touchscreen, you don't need a keyboard. Also, what's up with the arrow keys and PgUp and PgDn? Can't you use the triangle/X buttons for that, and make they keyboard keys larger?

Fantasy mock-ups are nice, but let's have something a bit more realistic.
