Kongregate to bring its service to Facebook
We don't talk about it a lot, but we have a secret love for online Flash service Kongregate. Not only does it offer achievements (truly the only good reason to play games) but it's brought us Flash obsessions like the soul- and time-sucking behemoth that is Desktop Tower Defense.
Now, the service is expanding into one of our other, even more secreter, loves with the Kongregate Facebook Challenge application. Though the features are limited at the moment, you'll soon be able to challenge friends to games through the Facebook service. You know, because the internet just wasn't distracting enough.

I am trying to block that game from my memory... I'm suprised it didn't get me fired.

That game is SO freaking addictive. I'd start a game, and the next thing I know, it's 4 hours later and I haven't done anything productive. It's a time killer, that's for damn sure.

Slow morning? 7 comments, 2 comments, 2 comments...PC games obviously ain't generating the hits on this site. How about whipping up a console flame generator post to get us going this AM?

Everyone's just hungover from Mike's party last night.

I loved Fancy Pants, and a few others, but to be honest I mostly found stuff to be a waste of time. I appreciate the site being there... it just didn't live up to my expectations?
Can you save progress yet? They were working on that i think...

I tend to agree with you, but I like the business model they are setting up with these types of services. Paving the way for more hardcore stuff like Battlefield Heroes and Quake Live.

Huey2k2 @ May 6th 2008 1:45PM

manaman @ May 7th 2008 3:42AM
Well,
I don't know what to say about the Facebook match-up, but Kongregate is one rockin' place. It's a fun wind-down once a week for card challenges. "Fancy Pants" is amazing!
Peace,
