We're already offering you a weekly update on video game releases, but we recently came to the horrifying realization that it's just not enough. What if you needed to buy Shootron: The Shooting Robot but you had spent all your money the week prior on Staboid: The Alien Who Stabs? Horrifying!
So, we decided to pull the lens back a bit and show you a list of, well, not all the new releases, but the ones we think you might be interested to hear about. And since you've already seen what's coming this week we're gonna start with the releases due on or near May 13. Also, since this list is subject to change, we'll try to keep it updated throughout the month.
Read on, savvy shopper! Read on!

I dunno, but come June, WiiWare gets SBCG4AP. Automatic win, especially coming from Telltale Games.

I'm happy this month with WiiWare and the new Nintendo Channel.
Oh, and there's this game called Blast Works for the Wii. Looks very good.

Isn't Blast Corps another Rare one? Turns out that ALL good n64 games were by Rare. Nintendo should really have got a VC license when they sold them to MS.
For a minute I was really excited about Blast Works for Wii... but then I realised I was thinking of Blast Miner. Boy that game sucked hours from my life. (in puzzle mode of course).
I appreciated the art style of Tumiki Fighters, but the actual gameplay never really did it for me... so i don't really have much interest in Blast Works.

Yeah it was a Rare game, along with Goldeneye they are among my (if not) my favorite 64 games. I would love to see Blast Corps on Xbox Live Arcade or as a VC download, doubt that will ever happen though. I don't remember it being a very mainstream game.

The only games that look interesting at all to me are Quake Wars and Lost Planet Colonies.

I have Quake Wars for PC. I rate it a solid meh. It's kinda fun to blow up all the vehicles with a rocket launcher, but unless you've been playing it forever, 90% chance you'll be on the losing team every time.
(And the losing team is the one that can't get achievements, because achievements are objective based. Defenders don't have objectives...)
But I'm not bitter.

Yeah... you guys need few international correspondents. Or failing that, a "us-only" tag so we can all filter out this stuff in our news-readers.
Also, please fix your gallery so it actually shows the images full size.. or am i missing something obvious.
(i tend to think not, as you still haven't fixed the links in the "someone has replied" emails, at least 6 months on, and after having a specific post where everyone pointed it out. Its a 5 minute fix to the code... honest. )

Thank god there's nothing good coming out. I'll be too busy playing GTA and Phantom Hourglass anyway. Maybe I'll even go and pick up Mario Kart and Boom Blox at some point, but the urge isn't that pressing.

Man I stalled out on Phantom Hourglass and haven't picked it up in awhile. As you can likely guess I'm at a point where I have to go into the Ocean King Temple again.
I can't handle any new games this month. GTAIV and Mario Kart releasing so close to each other has really burgled most of my gaming time.
Burgled?

Myst DS had some MAJOR issues in the UK release. Don't know if they have been ironed out for the US release or not, but it might be worth checking, or waiting for a review or two.
In the meantime, look up a few customer reviews on amazon.co.uk

Yes, Myst DS is buggy as hell. Almost unplayable. Not worth your money. At least the european version.
Mag64.de even refused to give it a rating (= a 0% rating). They called it a "rushed out beta version".
Crashes regularly and is very badly localized (at least into german language).

It's too bad about the draconian copy-protection on Mass Effect PC, otherwise I'd have a reason to be excited about new releases this month.
