It's been two years since the last Fight Night game was released, which is practically eons ago in the annualized sports game world. But EA announced this afternoon that fans need wait no longer as Fight Night will return for "Round 4" at some point next year on Xbox 360 and PS3.
There are few details at this point, other than what you'd expect (new gameplay engine, new physics, etc.). Perhaps most exciting is that Mike Tyson will appear in the game, more than a decade after both his last video game appearance and his last brush with relevance.

Good to hear about the new FN R4, though I don't care too much for Tyson. I just hope they have some real fighters like Calzaghe.

Why don't they put Lennox lewis on any of their games?! He is one of only three heavyweight boxer to take the title three times, Evander Holyfield and Muhammed Ali are the other two and they're in the game

Well,
When I played FNR3 I was a beast. I loved the graphics and the realism. If they say that Mike Tyson is going to be in it, that's great. I just hope that they put the Mike Tyson from the 80's. I would also love to see a what if section in the options menu. For example: What if Mike Tyson fought Lennox Lewis in his prime, would he have won. Hopefully George Foreman is on there also.

I hope every single person ripping on the alleged rape is also making the same comments for all NBA games with Kobe Bryant. I know I'll get criticized for defending Mike Tyson but I've actually met him in 2006 and he's really nice. It sounds crazy but he is largely a victim in his tragic undoings, corrupted by the convicted murderer Don King (look that up haters). The ear biting, well he was running out of options after constantly getting head butted and having Mills Lane (the ref) do nothing about it. If they stopped the fight before the 4th round ended it would be a draw. It was a good, but very sick and irrational tactic. But how can you praise someone for being a modern gladiator and then question his methods, to quote Russell Crowe "Are you not entertained?"
And on the question about Tyson in his prime he would have DESTROYED Lennox Lewis. I appreciate the champ Lennox was (after how shitty the division has been since he retired) but Tyson when Cus D'Amot was still alive would have beaten Lennox before 10. Lennox didn't have the greatest chin (see the Rahman upset) and early Tyson was a masterful defender and super active in the ring.
