Haze PSN demo hits in Europe, coming to US tomorrow

At least we are getting a demo, so we can play it 1st hand.
This game had a lot of hype, and was being consider one of the top PS3 games this year. (joystiq alone wrote a lot of stories about it, even if 90% of those where delays news)
I will play it tommorrow and I am thinking of comparing it to Frontlines and see how it plays (I loved Frontlines for some odd reason).

In summary after reading the above comments:

This game is 'meh'.

really looking forward to dl'ing the demo and determining for myself how this game is....although it sounds like it's in my "rental" category rather than "purchase"....

Between Haze, Resistance 2 and Killzone 2, as well as even MGS4, I'd say Sony is really 'shooting' themselves in the foot.

I dont think its unreasonable to say nobody in the history of ever has been a PlayStation fan based on the FPS genre. The genre barely existed on consoles in the PS1 and PS2 days.. it dominated PC gaming and by all rights still should.

You're not delivering the genres which made us fans and you continue to pile on garbage nobody wants.. and exclusively to the platform no less. Then when nobody buys it, it reflects poorly both on the platform and its enthusiasts.

FPS will continue to be enjoyed by online enthusiasts, but its pretty clear where online enthusiasts belong, and its NOT on PlayStation... Meanwhile real Sony fanboys are all sitting at home waiting for that first real reason we bought a PS3 to begin with to show up. A year and a half after the system launch and almost 3 years after its announcement, we still cant even see any gameplay.

I played it. It isn't bad, per se....its just incredibly mediocre. The first RFOM kindof looked like an xbox1 game in HD....this just looks like an xbox1 game. Perfect dark's 2 jungle levels are easily better looking than the entirety of Haze's jungle.

Not to mention how horribly boring the weapons are.

Remember all that talk about FreeRadical and Timesplitters? Guess those videos I sent to Noshino of Halo3 looking better than Haze WERE indeed correct. Still gonna try to see first hand but according to mostly I dunno...*everyone* the game looks horrible.

Its official, fernando admitted all wii games suck

So by this checklist, all wii games belong to the garbage bin
lets check out the wii games:
480p
non-existent or no voice acting in any games
generic 10-15 year old gameplay - Super marios smash, mario kart, same generic gameplay as with pervious tiltes. - again same gameplay. Same holds true for Zelda, Metroid and Super mario world - with some improvement in control due to the controller (which holds true for PS3 incidentally as you can use kbm) but otherwise ZERO change in gameplay.

Did you play the game.. i know you are an FPS lover, how is it?

I just noticed, the guy who voices Carpenter sounds awfully similar to the VA for Rohn in LAIR.

I would care at all if these was :
A) Coming for the Xbox 360
and even more if it:
B)Included the MasterC.

But still,if it was:
A)Coming for the Xbox 360
I would care,something atleast,and that "care" could grow if the game seems good,enough to buy it.

I cant wait to try this out. I've contemplating about getting this game day 1. I guess i'll see tomorrow. Yay or Nay? Thats my quest.

Yeah, it's a sad moment indeed when someone like me who REALLY TRIED to like this game plays this demo. Awful. I'm so disappointed, sorry guys.
