Yeah, re-downloading isn't any more of a legitimate solution for the Wii's space issues than it is for the 360s DLC DRM issues.

Downloaded it and played around a bit. Not a whole lot interesting there at the moment but probably a nice idea. I did like the DS download section. I played around with Ninja Gaiden DS for a few minutes, looking forward to more of that kind of thing.

While I love the idea of channels like this one and the Mario Kart channel, it is starting to make the channel/page dynamic a little unwieldy. Personally, I love playing VC titles, so I probably have about 12 slots that are OPEN.

If Nintendo continues to release a channel for every new idea they have, I'm going to run out of space before the Animal Crossing / Tom Nook / Random Blade of Grass channel gets here.

What they need to do is put a Virtual Console channel in that you access to see all of your games and play from there. Having a channel for every virtual console game is insane, can you imagine if there was a blade for every downloaded game on the 360?

Just send an email to the Wii everytime you want the blue light on. I always do that... looks very nice.

Just take your System Friend Code, add a w at the beggining, at @wii.com

This is an example: w5140354057836618@wii.com

Just save yours in your contact list.

I am happy. It gave me a chance to try out CrossworDS. Even though it's DS games, it's nice that Nintendo is giving us a chance to try some games out at home.

agreed baby sea tuna

I own NYT Crossword for the DS and it's damn near impossible. I'm OK up until Wednesday, then it's just downhill, and forget about Sunday's. I can't even touch them.

I tried the CrossworDS demo too - I have it on order anyway, but I wanted to see how it played beforehand.

Other than not liking the way I write the letters I, G and M, not bad.

This channel is amazing... way better than download game videos from Live, because all the content is streamed.

And the interfaze is very good. Here's a demostration:

I'm sorry that I can't take your impromptu review as being totally unbiased.

Fernando - you can't honestly belive the Wii is perfect in every way man. The memory issue is lame.

I don't think there's a problem with the Wii memory.

Though, I may change my mind when I see the sizes of Wiiware games, but at present, the 512mb size is sufficient.

Honestly, I really don't see how people have maxed out their slots/disk space. They seem to be going on unnecessary purchasing binges.

"Honestly, I really don't see how people have maxed out their slots/disk space. They seem to be going on unnecessary purchasing binges."

How do you make that statement when you have no knowledge of someone else’s reasoning? Someone may like older titles more than new ones, they may have 5 kids using the dl service, they may be able to buy all they want and thus do it. Who are you to label other people's purchases as unnecessary or as binging?

The space is too limited for some people. Maybe you should just accept that rather than continue the common practice of ignoring Wii's faults.

NATO,

Nigeria's a cool guy, no need to snap back. He means no harm with his posts, he truely is inquiring how one fills up the space so quickly.

I too am having Wii free space issues like you. Thankfully, the president himself has recognized this issue and addressed it publicly, meaning nothing short of a guaranteed solution is on the way.

Actually, I think Nato's venom can be partly justified. On occasion, I do act a little solipsist - I think that's the word - assuming that everybody acts in a similar manner to me and the people I know.

But, I still feel the same. There just isn't enough good games, that I haven't played, I might add, that warrant purchase. But not everybody is me, as you so beautifully put it, Noble Nato.

I wasn't trying to be venomous here - I, like others, tire of hearing that anything Wii related is perfect when we know it isn't.

Often people make excuses for things others don't like, and then act as though the person with the problem is the antichrist for not simply praising nintendo for existing.

I have no problem with Nigeria. I just had a problem with blowing off other people's concern because someone who is not party to their life calls it a non-issue.

There are DS demos for now...

And no, you can't read reviews. You submit reviews this way:

Every game that you have a save file, you chose it from the Review list, and you can select how much you like it, then you select who liked more the game, Man or Woman, then you select if the game is better for casuals or hardcore, then you select if its better to play the game alone or with friends, and then you submit your answers. Very quickly, about 15 seconds to review every game you have, but only if you have played the game for more than a hour.

One day, I will hook my Wii up to teh intenetz. I just don't have any desire for what the Wii offers online. I already have my SNES with all my favorite games (thanks ebay) so VC isnt really a reason. Going online with MK with no voicechat? Nah I'd rather just play against my wife or sons.

Is there any news of Nintendo fixing this? Sony is making an effort but I don't recall hearing about the Wii. On a sidenote I rented MP, graphics are pretty good actually for a SD game and the controls actually feel good. I'm renting Medal of Honor Heroes 2 next since my buddy said he liked it.

Fenix,

Your sole reason for not playing Mario Kart online is no voice chat? Wow. Give it a try before comemnting man, 2 player online with your wife will be a blast, trust me. Me and the wife play every night. BTW, Those Asians are serious on there.

Also, you rented MP? I presume Metroid Prime? But then you say it's good for an SD game? What is that? And oh yeah, 32 Player online with Medal of Honor is unlike anything else on a console when considering it's a Wii/PSP effort and the extensive control adjustment options available.

Plus, maybe we can play together. My Mii character racer is very cool.

MK will always be my favorite racing game and I think my wife is an even bigger fan. She actually went to buy it not me :P Wii play against each other almost everynight and I'm not gonna lie she beats me sometimes haha.

Yeah my buddy was telling me to get MoHH2 so we can play online and I was like for what? So I can talk smack about how I owned him or how he owned me or how we owned other peeps 2gether later on when I see him?Thats just goofy to me. I wanna talk smack right there and then. Co I dont want any trouble. Can you have my back if NDF arrives? lulz

MP3, good game, good graphics, wasnt expecting too much because I wasnt all into the GC versions but I wanted to rent it and try the controls.

lol yea i got ur back, some of those NDFs are surreal.

But yea if you like the controls in MP3, MoH:H2 trumps them in ever way possible.

But really, not playing MK Wii online is equivalent to not playing a Halo online. You are missing AT LEAST 50% of the experience. Unlike any other online game outisde of Heros 2, Karts is amazing.

sounds interesting for those with a DS or want to watch videos that promote Nintendo stuff (which most likely have already seen on joystiq or gametrailers), but otherwise an absolute waste of time--I don't bother recommending stuff by filling out forms unless they're paying me to do so. otherwise, simple word of mouth to my friends is adequate for those that have a Wii.

What the hell? I've played that game just as long as some of the others. It's like everyone forgot that game existed. In fact, almost no sites even reviewed it, yet they review "Horsez".

The only thing that got my attention was,why no DEMOS too? or GAME VIDEOS?
Then ,i rememberd.512mb.....yep. Thats flash memory me thinks, not HD cuz Wii has no HD,and that sucks for it.
