Talk about a disappointment. It's pretty sad that the Dreamcast Mr. Driller character looks better than the Xbox 360 one.

Had a similar experience. Tried the demo, then booted an older game of the series ("Mr. Driller Drill Land", GC, NTSC/J) and didn't notice much difference.

Did I mention that this older game has 5 modes and a ton more variety?

I bought this on release foolishly, mainly to play the damn thing online. I hope it really does get fixed!

I am a big fan of the Mr. Driller series and it would be nice if I could play this online as the name would suggest.

This is why I never buy XBLA games. When MS allows this kind of half-assed approach from developers, then why should I give them my money?
