PixelJunk Monsters expansion invades PSN this week
We probably shouldn't be telling you this, but updates on this site are very likely to cease tomorrow, what with the PSN update bringing us the expansion pack to Q-Games' addictive tower defense game, PixelJunk Monsters. Featuring a new island, 15 additional levels, five new music tracks and a $5.99 price tag, PixelJunk Monsters Encore will have us erecting towers for several days at least. Longer if we try to get all the rainbows.
Oh well, we suppose we'll just keep recycling all the posts about Grand Theft Auto IV.

and give my girlfriend an excuse to interrupt my GTAIV orgy? hah. NEVER.

Q-games are basically drug pushers at this point. Making sure everyone gets there fix. Pixeljunk Monsters is one of the more addicting games I've played in a long time (along with Peggle)

I must have spent 200hrs on this game trying to get all the stupid rainbows and I'm just one away from being supergay.

well put.

You know, normally I'm kinda sensitive about gay jokes (having several family members and friends who are gay), but that was really funny :)
Personally, I love the game, but I'm not nearly good enough to be supergay yet. I'm trying my hardest to get that way though!

This game looks really fun. I'm considering buying it (the first one...then maybe the expansion later).

Demo it... It is addictingly fun.

James Ransom-Wiley suggested this to me, so I got the demo and after hours and hours of gameplay, I'm still captivated by the upgrading dance. It may be because I'm slightly mental, but it is probably just because it's a challenging and addicting game of real time strategy (and excellent enough to pull me away from Soul Calibur IV).
Many kudos.
