Keep drinking that Obama Kool-Aid. The dood is a communist.

Who cares if he wants to bring the troops out of Iraq. The REAL problem are the troops in all the other countries they're stationed in @ the tax payers expense. WE ARE NOT THE WORLD POLICE.

Anyone that is pro-Obama is the product of a public school education.

ConfusedGam3r, I doubt you even know what a real liberal is(fun fact, none of them are really serving in office except maybe Kucinich!)

I support Obama as I find pointless wars and the will to fight them for 100 years kind of scary and Hilary is just awful. Obama is also the only candidate who doens't support the cutting of the gas tax as cutting that would be an awful idea. Theres really no arguing with Conservatives though, the only thing they care about is holding on to their money, watching the country go down the shitter, and basing the legacy of a president on things that have little to do with his run in office or policies.

Also, if you want public schools to stop leaning left then maybe perhaps you should stop passing awful bills such as the No Child Left Behind act and maybe throw them a few bones to teach these kids while they're at it.

@ Jake11, I love how you say it would be Ron Paul's fault for no education. Do you commend Obama for leaving the responsibility of games to the parents? Yet, are you against leaving the responsibility of education to the parents?

Not only do my parents pay taxes for other peoples children to go to school, but they also paid for my private school education. Is this fair?

My father would have to work 60 to 80 hours a week to afford my private school education. I rarely saw him in my teen years and he missed nearly all my basketball and baseball games because he wanted to give me better than he had. He sacraficed for it. I feel sorry for people whose parents do not care enough to make those sacrafices. There is no accountability at public schools. I live in California where we have some of the highest taxes and our school system is a joke.

@ Cox Attacks,
You're exactly what I'm talking about. So you're against the war. How do you think the government funds this war? Hmm... through our taxes. So you want to elect someone that WILL tax people even MORE to fund the very government that you disagreed with on how your money is spent in the first place? How hypocritical. This is the problem with a 2 party system. They're too much a like for there to be any REAL CHANGE.

After Obama spoke at the DNC in 2K4, the media has built him up so high. Like I said, "Keep drinking the Kool-Aid". Be a good consumer and believe everything TV tells you.

its too bad that us working class contributors to society have to keep pissing money away into extremely overly abused "government aid programs" to keep the crackhoes and trailer trash well paid to breed more of themselves. for some reason, the ignorant and degenerate scum of the US are entitled to their checks so they can put rims on their dead grandma's cadillac (with the handicap tag) and so they can get more sudafed to fuel their clandestine meth labs.
the setting of idiocracy is, i fear, the future of this country.

Confused,

For your perusal, consider the following allegations by Obama campaign manager David Plouffe:

"I mean the vast, vast majority of voters who would not vote for Barack Obama in November based on race are probably firmly in John McCain's camp already."

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/04/25/obama-campaign-manager-not-worried-about-race/

He is suggesting that people who don't vote for Obama are racists and he's a high-up with Obama!

I'm not taking the side of one candidate or another, I'm not necessarily even agreeing with Ninja's comment. My point is that before you call someone else's comment stupid, at least do your homework.

Remember, I never said all of his popularity, but he has gained a noticeable increase in it merely because he may be the first non-white (well half-white), American President. He would still probably be popular, but I bet you he'd have less hype if he was fully white. I am sure he has gained many votes merely because of his race, especially from African-Americans without looking any further into who he really is, which is a real shame, especially from the youth vote.

Your reason is absolutely correct as well, but there's no need for name-calling. : )

Lone Starr - Please tell me you're not dumb enough to believe what you just said. Just in case, let me rephrase Plouffe's comment:
"The vast majority of voters who are anti-Obama because he is black, are probably in the McCain camp."
In other words, anyone who is prejudiced against Obama by his skin color is likely to vote for Obama's opponent, McCain.
I hope you see this is not the same as calling anyone who doesn't vote for Obama a racist!

You all sound kinda scared. Whats up with that?

Plouffe's comment was about people who are voting on the basis of race only. He is not at all suggesting that if you dont vote for Obama are racists. He is saying that racists will not vote for him on principle (DUH!).

If you are not a racists, you will see that Obama is actually a brilliant man, who is interested in finding solutions and directions of development that will strengthen the country and put in back on the course of prosperity.

He can also speak without pwning himself every three words and appears to be able to think with his head and not with his nuts or with Dick Cheney's head. That is a truly refreshing thing.

He is also the only one who has managed not to become bitter about the whole thing, unlike McCain, Hillary or you. Dont worry, you private school education will remain superior even if Obama is president. Although I dont really see any evidence of its superiority in your comments - only ideological indoctrination, maybe couple with promise of future riches for faithful adherence.

Ninjakamster - You believe that there are voters who will vote for Obama primarily because he is black. Let me ask you, do you think the number of such voters will be less than or greater than the number who will vote against him for the same reason?
Before you answer remember that until very recently the very idea of a black man becoming president was virtually unthinkable - why was that, again?

tung, korova,

What he says is totally unsubstantiated. You miss my point totally. People say this race isn't about race when Plouffe makes it about race. Look at Korova's comment:

"If you are not a racists, you will see that Obama is actually a brilliant man."

So people who disagree with Obama are racists? This is exactly my point. Plouffe is saying 1)Republicans are racists and 2)bringing up race which I believe Obama didn't want this to be about. I'm not saying all people who vote for Obama are racists, which you foolishly assumed. All I'm saying is that Obama's camp is dismissing people who don't vote for him as racists (when they have no idea how large that segment is).

You blind idealogues.

You are making a mistake of logic.

What Plouffe said is that Racists wont vote for Obama because they are Racists. It may be that even if they were not racists, they wouldnt vote for him anyway. Or if McCain held Obama's positions they wouldnt vote for him, BUT since they are racists, that will probably stop them for considering anything but Obama's race. Its like a lithmus test.

It does not follow that anyone who does not vote for him is a racist. They may disagree with him. Plenty of people do. Its just that those people will be on the same side of the decision as racists, but hey that happens sometimes.

Some people voted for Bush because they would rather have him to dinner than Kerry, while other voted for him because he is nice to oil companies. It doesnt mean that they all hate the environment.

I am not assuming that people who vote for Obama are racist. Where do you get that?

McCain is just another Bush republican, the real anti-christ if you want to call anyone that.

Hilldog is hit or miss with some issues and has virtually no credibility left.

The only thing republicans can get on Obama so far is that crazy asshole preacher and what HE said, not anything that Obama said.

I'll take my chances with that instead of a liar/flip-flopper and someone who wants to keep the country going the same direction it is now so we can collapse.
