Through the hard times, through the delays, fans of LittleBigPlanet -- or at least people who think they will be fans of LittleBigPlanet -- have been comforted by the fact that whenever the game arrives they'll be getting an early look at it through the oft-promised public beta of the game. Now, our friends at PS3 Fanboy are sadly reporting that they were bedside to see the public beta's death rattle.
There's still a chance that a limited number of gamers will be invited into Sony's internal beta or that a demo will make its way to awaiting PS3s. But for now, we must wait and hope and design our platforming levels with the only materials we've ever needed: Notebook paper, a Sharpie and a boring lecture in algebra class.

Haha, it's funny that you think it's only me who claims your trolling. Look right at the other comments, the only 2 other people that have replied to you think your trolling as well. And how is this "typical curtis"? I can guarantee you won't find another post where I say anything like this one.

Not really sure why, after Halo 3, every single semi-big game seems to be getting a console beta that isn't for anything beyond just stress testing. And yes, I understand it was a PC phenomenon way before Halo 3 released it's beta.
That aside...my friend keeps saying this is one of the reasons he's going to try and buy a PS3 but honestly I'm not really all that interested in it. I could see this as a fun rental but I think the longevity will only be for those hardcore map creators or whatever. I'm not trying to hate on this but all of it's supporters are using the same language as those who were touting Lair and Heavenly Sword as these incredible games that will swing the so called "console war" in the PS3's favor.
Hopefully this game will, though, entice more developers to allow gamers to create content for their games (although that doesn't seem to be the case with the huge amounts of money available for DLC). I suppose time will tell as long as this game doesn't get stuck in developer hell.

It sounds like they are seriously considering a demo. I hope it contains some of the level editing so that we can get a taste of what to expect come October.
I am most intrigued by what we will see from the user created levels. I mean, the possibilities are endless. I do not have the time or patience to create some of the levels that we will likely see from fellow LBPters. Maybe Sony might let us walk around Home with our created Sockboys.

@vidikron.
Apparently being a Sony game cheerleader is off limits too. God forbid someone looks forward to/praises a specific game on a game web site.....

Can you please disable those annoying Centrino cover-all commercials? Thanks.

Let the haters hate. Its what they're best at... I, myself, am pretty so-so about this game. Im an artist/cartoonist, so the creativity aspect looks appealing.Kinda wish there would of been a demo. This is the kind of game that looks like you love it or hate it...
But honestly im more psyched about spore! Did you know some people still stay it'll be vaporware!! They apparently havent seen the CC:P...
