Highlights from Activision's FY08 earnings call
Mega-publisher Activision held its Fiscal Year 2008 earnings call yesterday. While you can listen to it yourself, most of the gaming news came from an 8-minute section in over an hour-long conference call. Here are the highlights from the call:

Ah, past, present, and future. To recap:
Activision fucked up Tony Hawk so bad that they won't even bother to release a competitor to Skate this year.
Activision is fucking up the Guitar Hero franchise, which captured the imagination of casual gamers and enthusiasts alike.
Activision promised that they will fuck up Call of Duty 4, one of the best games of 2008, by commissioning Treyarch to do a cash-grab port for the holidays.
