Stellar 16-bit graphics? That's only like 3 bits away from the real Wii! China is catching up...

"Similar sports games with Nintendo Wii, but more cheaper"

I really love reading WiiFanboy and DSFanboy because I am also a Nintendo fan. In reading this post and the comments that followed, I find myself a little disappointed. I didn't bother looking at how expensive this Wii imitation is, but let me share something else.

A real Wii in China costs about 1800 yuan: the basic console, with the one controller. Now add to that most of the people in China make only about 700-1000 yuan a month. So buying a real Wii could cost over 2 months worth of pay for them. Is it really that weird people would try to sell something cheaper, because they know there are tons of people who can't afford the real thing?

Imagine if you made USD $150 per month, and the Wii cost $250. Can you afford to buy one?

Okay, is this Vii thing real or what? How is it so popular and yet Nintendo hasn't sued or anything? Sorry, but I just have a hard time believing it really exists.
