Guys, if they tried to pull the wool over your eyes, wouldn't they get rid of the OBVIOUS SIGNS? You guys... I really can't believe you guys are capable of breathing.

Why exactly do we need comparison videos anyways? Just buy it for the console you actually have. If you have both, get it for the one you prefer. It's really not a big deal.

imagine if it was the other way around, GT used two 360 versions and then deemed the 360 the loser

then all the folks on joystiq who are saying this was just a silly mistake would be bashing PS3 and their fans to no end and mocking the price and everything about PS3 and saying how PS3 sucks so bad that it needs the only way it looks better is by having a 360 beat a 360

I'm so sick of the 360 bias on joystiq comments. Seriously, 360 does somethings better and PS3 does some things better. Stop being fanboys...its no longer cute.

I find that XBOX fanboys are much more hostile just like the company that makes the system. Seriously trashing the opposition is a long tried and true tactic of Microsoft. they have been doing it since the '80s. Reminds me of South Park. If you get caught its cheating, if you cheat and get away with it it is being savvy. True words in business today.

It is the same reason why Top Gear USA is going to suck. Ford might spend $100 million on an ad campaign during the show. If the hosts say the Focus sucks balls NBC is not going to have a lot of kind words to say to the hosts. GameTrailers probably has staff meetings where the higher ups say that they can never show the PS3 as superior or they could lose advertising money from Microsoft. It happenned at Gamespot and it is common practice.

The game is actually quite good other than the drifting level. I can't get above 120,000 points and you need over 280k to get first place. If you want an arcade like experience you can turn on all the drving aids. If you want a sim type you turn them all off. I made it through the Euro and San Francisco races with a good ammount of damage to the front end of my car. The dmage model is pretty good. In the final game you will probably have 4 or 5 damage levels just like Dirt.

How stupid do they think we are

One thing I do know is that it matters not if this was a mistake or not because people will believe what they want. No amount of evidence will dissuade someone once they have made up their mind.

I have watched videos on GT for quite some time and when I read the comments, it's always the same. GT has bias for which every system is on top. Right now, everyone is trying to make the connection that shows GT bias but instead they only show their own bias.

In the end, GT credibility will be shot but only to the fanboys. Most people will see this as the mistake it is and move on never caring about the silly war Fanboys have harbored in their hearts.

Actually they have been doing this on a REGULAR basis, I've only noticed since GTA4 though. On numerous occasions through the GTA4 they place Xbox on the PS3 side.

It's preference... They always say the PS3 is more 'dull' in colouration. Perhaps for example it has a better palette.. Have you been outside at all recently people ?? ?the world is not saturated in glowing primary colours.. it is actually quite unsaturated overall..

I played the PS3 demo... I love it. Haven't compared it to x360.. but I'm sure it's similar, and frankly I, and codemasters, don't give a fishermans fanny which version you prefer. Otherwise they would be console specific.
