The same tripe we hear over and over. Thanks for blowing our minds with information such as the PS3 is selling more units in 2008. As always, you ignore the fact that the 360 has a larger US install base already, leading to less units being bought. You know, people don't go buy a second and third for shits and giggles generally.

WTF does it matter how many copies of GTA sold versus how many units of the consoles there are? I dont see how the attach rate on one game matters. Its the overall attach rate that demonstrates software success - and there the PS3 is still lacking.

Your rant was just typical fanboy points rehashed (Bluray brought up!?). Stop trying to act like the PS3 is snuffing the 360 and its doomsday for anyone who owns one.

That's right, they don't buy a 2nd and 3rd one for no reason. They buy a 2nd and 3rd one so they can play on it while they are waiting for the 1st to come back from Microsoft after it red ringed. I wonder if MS has any way of tracking how many 360s are used as "backup" consoles. To Microsoft's credit, that kind of zealot loyalty to a brand is hard to achieve!

Why don't we offset that kind of comment with the fact that lots of people with one console also buy the other brand's console - so there goes more from your PS3 will kill them all arguments.

Now, I do like my 360 quite a bit, and then I like the PS3, and then the Wii. That's how it is in my house. Now, that doesn't make me a fanboy, because I generally say what I think about each as it comes. Sometimes that’s positive about the 360 and negative on Sony, or the opposite. (Example: Just said I liked VP and I also liked Warhawk and the GT series.) Usually it doesn’t matter that the competitor exists when talking about an issue or a game- as is usually the case.

(BTW- my point about the sales was that there would be more PS3 sales now as they are the newer kid on the block, and hence there would be less people buying the 360 in comparison. You blow off facts like those of us who have multiple systems, or that there are ups and downs in an electronic pieces sales life. Oh, and of course, there is no victor in your little console war as they all make a lot of money no matter how much you say they can't/won't/don't simply because you don't support them.)

You call yourself a fanboy, and now you are mad about being shown another point of view. I don’t have to be blindly loyal to one machine, to cry when someone doesn't like it. I do bash the hell out of the PS3 fanboys, because every damn post is the same crap over and over about how the PS3 is going to destroy the others and the 360 will be gone, and the Wii is a short trend to soon die. (Yes, this article is about that, but head over to one on a 360 game or a wii game and there it will be, out of place, and full of statistics and puffed up junk to sound like you’re backing the king in his march to victory.)

Now, all that said, I agree the PS2 is a great machine, was top of its class last generation and sold/sells great, but this idea that you have to buy one console (the PS3) and piss on the others is f*cking lame.

I'm glad I can enjoy all three new consoles without having to spend my time defending why I ignore using the other brands. Further, If I had to be associated to one side of this fake “console war” you all believe exists, I sure as hell am happy to not be on your side. Do you seriously think the 360 fanboys say the amount of bs the sony ones do? Of course you do, cause you are one of them. But I don't see it nearly as much.

except ps3 outsold 360 for all of 2007 on a global level selling over a million more units and has far outpaced 360 this year. Where do you guys get this assumption that the PS3 is selling poorly.
