You and me both, I can't wait for this game to come out. Especially due to the fact that it is MUCH longer than the first Fable (length was a let down).

I am also excited about this game. I've played through Fable several times on the xbox and several more on the 360.

# more fables here goes M$ milking this one to be dry as a bone. I actually like fable and it will be the first 360 game I actually purchase (I rent all other 360 games I am interested in) I just see them doing this to an up and coming franchise.

LOL, this news isn't even about the PS3 in ANY SINGLE FUCKING WAY and yet your still bashing the PS3 here.

I don't know if you know this, but we get that you absolutely despite Sony and the "POS3", there's no need to keep telling us that, even though you will keep on doing it and your posts keep showing how much of a Premier Asshole you are.

I'd jump on the obvious and unnecessary PS3 bashing, but I'm more interested as to how a person could be interested in a game "because" they didn't play the last one. Usually sequels compel you to play based on the previous game.

Any word on this getting PC treatment?

I don't onderstand what this game does to demonstrate PS3's failure to you...

Seriously, Sony kicks ass at RPG's over the years and has FF coming.

+1 Vegeta... if and only if your thoughts was of the "preggers chick" starting a combination attack by holding a guy's face down to her stomach as the unborn child kicks at him... then stiff-arms him back in range of a "lamaze stretch" submission hold... and finally firing off the baby in a bazooka-like expulsion to send the enemy flying.

And that's just the mom. The kid could use the umbilical cord like a whip. But we'll save that for FABLE3.

I'll stop drinking for today. Tonight however...

The bread crumb trails sounds a little.. erm.. silly. At least most adventure games pretend that "go here and do this" isn't entirely linear. But we'll see how it works, I guess.

I like it. In games with minimaps, I always end up watching the map much more than the actual game screen. This will help keep my mind on my business.

"Rough estimation: 20-30 times larger than the first Fable" 0_o

Damn, the first one took me a good week or two to finish everything. I guess I'll be on this one for a while.

No. I didn't get a 360 until well after launch, so I've had too many other games to keep me occupied to go back and take on Oblivion.

Maybe some day ...

Looks to me like the 2 in the title has been scrapped and replaced with II, take a look.

So Petey M didn't want a minimap but a glowy trail leading to the task/quest/etc is less intrusive?
I'd rather have neither and just a big overhead map showing my position and the destination. I'll figure my own way to get there.
Still, this is looking like a "buy" for me.

Since using the bread trail will be optional and there will also be a "world map" you won't have a problem will you?

Please remember to take these details with an entire MINE of salt, people. This IS Peter Molyneaux, which means a good... 98% of all this content will hit the cutting room floor before final release.

Actually you're wrong. Pete M has been very careful to only talk about things that are actually in the game. (This time around)

He's admitted that he was talking out of his ass when it came to his earlier games.

Oh, he admitted he was bullshitting the earlier games so we should definitely trust him for this one.

Right. Thanks a lot - I'll do just that.

Damn, forgot I have some snake oil to buy from a guy who invented polywater and runs his car on water and his house on cold fusion. He's gonna throw in some swampland in Florida with the purchase. And he'll even set me up with a prince in Nigeria who needs money transferred! I'm so lucky!

They only said the world is 10 times larger than the original. Doesn't necessarily portray how much larger the game on a whole is. At least as far as length of the story and side content goes.

I hope your hero doesn't scar so easily. I wanted to keep my character all beautiful, but by the end of the game he resembled a white scrotum sack. It wasn't beautiful, not in the slightest.

Also, I hope the babies can actually do something worthwhile, maybe something similar to the Lone Wolf and Cub films. Having my sword handed to me by a baby would be cool, for a moment.

So they ALMOST cut the female player character?

Considering the developer (sorry, guys, but the track record's against you), they probably had her gimped or something. Probably can't get preggers.

Fable takes about 7-8 hours to beat. This was my one major gripe with it. Fable 2 better be AT LEAST three times that if they want my $60

Still no news on the only three things I care about hearing about this game: release date, status of so-op over Live, and of course if it is going to have loading screens that are as long and annoying as they were in the first game.
