from trailers yes... but from the demo, i can say that the game is pretty much the same... i mean the crashes etc all look spectacular, the first time i hit the tires on the side of the road and they reacted i almost crapped myself... i was expecting the standard placeholder textured fake tires, but no they were real stacks of tires on the side of the road... with some massive damage to my car... ya its arcade, but its got a sense of speed GT5:P could only pray for.

As my 360 is in repair and has been since before the grid demo was available. I cannot argue with what is said but can only go off what I have played from Dirt.
Dirt looked amazing and had a physics engine equally impressive. I can only imagine the final product of Grid would be no less.

Either way I could easly argue that gt5 is far from realistic due to the lack of speed.
Just because the game lets you micro manage a bunch of parts for the car does not make it a simulation.

The reasons displayed in that video are EXACTLY why I played the hell out of Burnout and couldn't stand playing Project Gotham. Forza was a little bit better, but still disappointing as far as crash realism. (or maybe crash sensationalism)

GT isnt a sim, sims have damage and realistic racing, gt has neither.

Haha this is hilarious how he/she can bash a low HP compac car in to the walls and drive into on coming trafic...WOW.how come I don't see that in GRID untill the end of the vid and why only replays.guess he/she can't drive at all and had some one else drive and make it look good haha. Im a fan of GT since the begining but even i was HOPING for more in GT5 like weather, wind,or even a better reaction from the AI when I hit them ( like in real life you strike back the person that hit you ) but I don't realy care too much for damage on cars coz for 1.I don't watch my replays and 2.unless damaging your car makes a huge drifrence in arrowdiamics I can care less for it. I'm am realy going to enjoy GRID mabey even losse intrest in GT if they don't do something good in the full ver of GT5.As for the vid it is funny to see how he/she can crash a very very VERY slow car in to walls.I'm not letting him/her drive my car ( it may be too much for him/her )My gamertag and PSN is VegaC18Peace out!!

how can you compare cut scenes to actual game play of a c class type car try taking the f2007 round fugi and see if you dont spin out playing GRID is just way to easy your car literaly sling shots round corners

hmm, didnt really think that was kinda a fair comparison considering 'prologue' is only a taste of whats to come of GT5 whilst GRID is a full game itself. Its just like comparing a a finished painting to an (almost?) unfinished one.

Heck i'm just gona get both anyways.... :D
