Lego Indiana Jones demo now available for PC
With early buzz for the new Indiana Jones movie being wishy-washy, fans may need to find solace in playing the Lego Indiana Jones game on June 3rd. The PC demo is now available for download and should also be packaged with the Indiana Jones DVDs coming out today.
No word yet on console demos for Xbox 360 or PS3, but we've got some calls out for info. We can't imagine there'd only be a demo for PC. Clearly, somebody from marketing would've "chosen poorly" if that were the case.

My head is about to explode with so many news =p
PojoMofo @ May 13th 2008 2:21PM
agreed, how the heck am I supposed to get work done when every 15 min I am checking back here.
Jacksons @ May 13th 2008 2:20PM
That demo was great. Especially when I accidentally whacked Jones in the head with a shovel while attempting to dig up a prize. Classic.

Does it has more action than the Lego Star Wars games? I like those games, but after a while, they get boring.
Jacksons @ May 13th 2008 2:24PM
It seems pretty similar. Some puzzles, some teamwork puzzles, a little fighting, but it's hard to say at this point.

PC? Tisk tisk! PSN demo, NOW please!
Phranctoast @ May 13th 2008 2:36PM
PSN?????
don't you mean "Xbox live" ?
PSN doesn't update till Thurs....;)
xFenixKnightx @ May 13th 2008 2:48PM
No, I meant PSN. I like playing the Lego games with my kids on PS3 in the family room.
Hashbrown Hunter @ May 13th 2008 2:51PM
But...PC owns all.
Maverick Saturn @ May 13th 2008 3:44PM
PC doesnt have a throne, how can it own ¬_¬

After all the fuss about Lucasarts not releasing Unleashed on the PC, I think the fabric of the galaxy is at risk of being torn apart by the sheer irony of them now releasing this PC-only demo.
GenBanks @ May 13th 2008 2:47PM
I'd rather have Unleashed on PC than the demo to Lego Indiana Jones any day.
Nick the Hero of Canton @ May 13th 2008 4:16PM
I'd rather play Jones than Force Unleashed.
Einhanderkiller @ May 13th 2008 6:41PM
Their reasoning was that they'd have a divide between those who had low-end computers and those who had high-end computers, and I understand that to a certain extent. The low-end users wouldn't be able to experience the game as it was meant to be experienced, so they decided to not put it out on the PC. (However, nowadays, a PC more powerful than a console can be built from scratch for as low as $500 using parts from places like Newegg.com). They have definitely not abandoned the PC platform as a whole, though. I'm sure they'll put out their high-end games out on the PC again once the PC gaming market begins to work things out and not have such a huge divide between the low- and high-end. The Force Unleashed isn't that big a loss to us PC gamers, anyway.

I hope it scales well!
GenBanks @ May 13th 2008 2:46PM
Any word whether this is any good? I never got around to playing Lego Star Wars even though it got some great reviews.
Maverick Saturn @ May 13th 2008 3:45PM
Apparently movie sucked, no suprise there. :P
Nick the Hero of Canton @ May 13th 2008 4:17PM
The new one? Really? Because I was under the impression that, you know, no one has actually seen it yet.
Maverick Saturn @ May 13th 2008 5:14PM
Yup, accept critics, was in newspaper this morning
Will @ May 13th 2008 4:30PM
Is it sad that I am more excited for the Lego Indy game than the new Indy movie?
