1UP's man on the ground at the Japanese Metal Gear Solid 4 press event has translated a clip that possibly hints at Hideo Kojima's next project. In an audio clip where attendees could only hear one half of a conversation between MGS character Revolver Ocelot and an unknown person, Ocelot explains that he just finished the press conference, right before he mentions "The Project" and "the sequel."
Konami president Fumiaki Tanaka already said in March that Kojima's next project is outside the Metal Gear universe. As for "the sequel," it could point to a new Zone of Enders or Snatcher, but that's all just rumor and speculation for now.

Revolver Ocelot? The same guy who ripped off somebodies arm and graphed it onto himself to gain his arm/personality. I'm sure this game will make plenty of sense too.

Alien Limb is a real disorder, albeit a rare and really fuckin' weird one. I don't think a transplanted limb would have a mind of it's own, though.

Wait. So is Konami and Kojima going the whole Recon armor route that Bungie took?

If Kojima felt that the PS3 limited his vision, I can't imagine he would be very happy with the wii hardware.

I thought that he said once that he was interested in developing for the Wii, but couldn't because he was so caught up with MGS4.

I figured he'd be working on Assassin's Creed 2, since he seems to really favor that franchise (the Altair costume, etc)

Its gonna be a game where all of Konami's characters duke it out and try knock each other off platforms.
By the third sequel, Miyamoto will be begging Kojima to put Mario in.

WOW! Am I the only one stoked for a new Snatcher?? I guess there arent too many folks on here who had the SegaCD back in the day, but Snatcher was was a beautiful game that was waaay ahead of its time. It's one of my all time favs and I would love to see a sequel. He better go full out with it though just like the new MGS. It's like a playable BLADERUNNER. Awesome.
