You've seen the leaked Xbox 360 screenshots of his next awesomely alliterative adventure, but perhaps you weren't quite sure what the bear with a bird in his backpack was doing in any of them. According to numerous online reports (here's one and here's another), Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts sees the eponymous creature exploring "Showdown Town" and collecting parts to assemble all manner of physics-based, LEGO-like vehicles. The game's vehicle editor is said to be accessible at any point, meaning that the last thingamabob you picked up (one of 1,600) might just have a use in, say, a helicopter. Or a hovercraft.
The unconfirmed word (we're just waiting for Microsoft to officially blast out all this info at its Gamer's Day today)confirmed word is that we'll get to be the bear with a bird in a backpack building a bulldozer this November. Be sure to spy the game's debut trailer after the break.
To be fair this game seems to aim for more than just that, unlike Mario Galaxy which was little more than "Mario 64 with physics in SPACE!!"
While I'm mentioning it, can some one please explain to me this innovation that was in Galaxy I seem to be missing? I don't mean to tell me why it was a good game (Its in my top 5 3d platformers), I want to know what exactly was innovative about it.
"Microsoft to officially blast out all this info at its Gamer's Day today)"
I knew it, see? All Microsoft does is copy Sony. Sony Gamers Day has been around for a few years and now Microsoft has to copy EVERYTHING, including the name.
If you can't tell, I was being sarcastic. I was just showing how idiotic some of you are when it comes to ANYTHING Sony does that is remotely similar to Nintendo when you call the WAAAmbulance and bitch and moan about how Sony copies Nintendo.
Yeah, because it's the same. *rolls eyes* Look, just don't come crying to all of us Nintendo fanboys next generation when Sony gets some motion controls that actually work and starts to focus on the casuals.
You need a new pair of glasses. I SAID I WAS BEING SARCASTIC. I guess that was not clear enough for you. The point I was making with my SARCASTIC comment was that to much crying goes on about who copies who, when in reality EVERYONE copies EVERYONE. That is how technology advances. One comes up with an idea, the rest IMPROVE on it.
Really you sexy girl you, failed on so many levels in one post with just a few sentences, how is that possible? *rolls eyes* and *rolls eyes again*
Pretty much, yeah. And the motion controls actually do work when implemented correctly... much like the Wii *gasp!*. You need only play R&C, Warhawk, Blast Factor, Uncharted, etc, etc... to see examples where it does actually work. Thanks.
"I like the way you use a second paragraph to explain the joke. Because THAT always makes things funnier."
Believe me that I was not trying to be funny, I was explaining myself b4 someone cries about what I said and takes it seriously. I would NOT have to do this if some of you babies could take a joke.
Dude, who's being the baby? You seem a little defensive for somebody that was being "sarcastic". Looks more like you were being serious and got called on it.
Are we seriously talking about "copying" here Go white sox? What grade are we in? I kid I kid ;) Buddy, calm down this is a good thing and I know for sure that your interested right? If not then you wouldn't be asking what time it starts lol. I'm not gonna lie I was somewhat dissapointed with Sonys Gameday overall. It was quite short.

I guess I'm just really excited to finally get a true platformer on the 360. On ewith a great history at athat, know what I mean? I hope it ends up being a great title for their lineup.
Yes I am curious as to what the other current-gen machine has up its sleeve. A good showing by Microsoft means that Sony will have WOW even more at E3.
By the way, is Sony having a Gamers Day this year? The last 2 were in May, I hope that Playstation Day did not replace it, not to mention SCEE did PS Day and SCEA does Gamers Day.
I doubt it. The whisperings of an upcoming Banjo sequel was one of main reasons I decided to finally buy a 360 6 months ago.
A franchise this revered by Nintendo fans should convince a few others that are still on the fence to finally invest in Microsoft's console (provided the game doesn't suck of course).
Hmm...it looks like it could be fun, although the trailer doesn't really make it look much at all like the previous two. I'm still iffy on the vehicle emphasis.
I shall remain cautiously optimistic for the time being.
"On ewith a great history at athat, know what I mean? I hope it ends up being a great title for their lineup."
wow wow, wait a minute, so Fenix, you said that Haze wouldn't be great (I like the demo, shush) despite the history of Free Radical... yes, that same studio that was created from some of the best people from Rare...
"While the game's worlds are large enough to make using vehicles essential, you'll still be able to explore lots of areas on foot, making use of Kazooie's abilities to achieve certain objectives.
The environments in Nuts & Bolts look gorgeous with vivid colours and some bizarre designs that make the game's six worlds a weird and wonderful place to explore. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts looks like it will be a hoot to discover and explore."
Noshino, get your shit straight. In refrencing the "great history at that" I meant Banjo, NOT Rare. Haze has no history. You cant say "oh well the ones on PS2 were good" so this will most likely also be good, like I did with Banjo.
Why would Rare make a driving game? All they are going to do is alienate fans of the original Banjo-Kazooie games.
It's like how Hollywood destroys comic books and anime: they remove everything people loved about the original and change it in an attempt to appeal to a broader audience, but end up appealing to nobody.
They need to release it earlier than november, or before gears, if its after gears, hello crappy sales, before gears, good sales. Does anyone get a LBP vibe from this game.
I don't see the connection. LBP is 2D, this is 3D. LBP you can create the entire level and add in your own pictures off the HDD. Other than they are both cartoony, I do not see any similarities.
I hope not, it's a shame that RARE has falling so far...so fast. They used to PISS excellence until MS bought them. Yes they were ALWAYS late with their games but most of them were worth the wait.
"Yes I am curious as to what the other current-gen machine has up its sleeve."
OH hahaha i see what u did there! So are you actually implying the console this generation blowing everything else out of the water isn't even a current gen system??
The Sox are an average to barely above average team but the MARLINS? I hate to say it but when the Clubbies play the Marlins, it will most likely be a slaughter.
Yeah I hate the White Sox since they swept us in the WS. We were right there with them in all 4 games. They were so close. All of them could have gone either way but we fell short in all. @^%$@(&$@^$(@$!$#@!$##%^!@$#%^#!!!!!
