First batch of free echochrome levels up tomorrow
The PlayStation Blog announced today that 20 new user-generated levels will be available in echochrome between May 15-21, and those new levels may be replaced with even more content the following week. Despite our mixed feelings on the idea that the puzzles are replaced rather than added to a mega-list, it's still great to see how quick the promise of free extra content for the $10 Escher-iffic puzzler was fulfilled.
The additional levels will appear randomly in freeform mode if the difficulty is set to level 2 or 3 and there's also been a Flickr page created to give some recognition to the level designers. Definitely check out the demo for the game if you haven't tried it,

So... if you download this weeks content, will it stay on your PS3, or will it be replaced with next weeks content?

I'm hoping that isn't the case. It wouldn't bother me so much if the content gets changed weekly on the PSN, but I hope the downloads don't overwrite each other.

Don't think they overwrite eachother if you download them every time they get put online. If for some reason you miss out on an update you won't be able to download them anymore when a new batch gets put online.

anyone else notice the demo version was 41 megabytes and the FULL version of the game was 40 megs? kind of weird...

Wow, I bought the game and got so frustrated with it that I dont think this is interesting. Lets take an already difficult game and throw in levels that are most likely impossible created by some kid with nothin better to do with his time.
