Just ordered it today, as I got $100 of Barnes & Noble gift cards from work.

So between this and GRID, that should keep me in games for the next couple of months. For (mostly) free too. Woot indeed.

The art style of this game kind of reminds me of Halo 3.

Nice post, just wondering though, what are the graphics like in terms of quality?

The control scheme is what breaks it for me. I wish I had to hit a button to attack. It's just more visceral that way. But whatever, there's a demo coming so I'll reserve denouncing this game until then. Really sucks about the co-op, blargh.

Genuine question: did you mean "vaunted"? Because I don't know if "vaulted co-op" means something game specific, while "vaunted" would make sense.

Remember kids, spell check doesn't always change things for the better!

1up made it sound like the game gets so hectic that it can be hard keeping track of one teammate, let alone three... so perhaps it's not all bad.

Yeah maybe, it's still disappointing to me though. Since Halo 3 there hasn't been much in the way of 4 player co-op. I'm on the fence with this one now.

This has been on the 'Want' list for quite some time now. Be glad to see it finally get a release.

Nice preview. Might want to fix this typo though: "by the line of thought that says the more advanced scene becomes the more it becomes indistinguishable from magic"

I think you mean advanced science, not advanced scene. ;)

So, hopefully no much unlike Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, I hope. The 360 sorely needs a game like this and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Awesome post Terrence! Thanks so much, this is very helpful indeed. Great read as well.

This information just made me even more excited for the game. Though the right analog stick control for melee does seem a bit different, I would assume it just takes a little getting used to then you are good to go. It sounds awesome in my opinion and I really can't wait for this time come out. Its got so much good potential!
