Zero Punctuation enjoys Grand Theft Auto-rotica

Zero Punctuation takes on Grand Theft Auto IV this week, but if you're one of the five people who didn't buy the game and are hoping for some ZP hate-fest on par with the Super Smash Bros. Brawl review ... then you have another thing coming. Yahtzee doesn't exactly suck GTA IV's "thumb" -- like he does Valve's -- but the issues he grasps onto are relatively minor points about getting lost in the side stuff. Not really full of his trademark, hyperbolic bile then. Shockingly, he even says that after finishing the review, he went back and played the game some more. It appears Niko Bellic has found a friend in Yahtzee.

Didn't wow me really, just seemed to lack that over-the-top ZP magic that made his greatest performances

His best reviews seems to be when he can find A LOT to hate about a game.

It's to commemorate the whole-series DVD set i burned, and will watch in marathon mode as the school year wanes

whine and moan from ps3 ppl the game is still good the man even said so himself. but he pointed out points that are obvious to everyone and it was a funny (graphically) video :)

I think he should review Mario Kart for the Wii so he can tear it a new a$$ hole. Now that would be a funny review.

Meh. Honestly I think what Yhatzee really needs to do is start reviewing horrible games. Kinda like Sean Baby. At least it would be much more hilarious than him nitpicking very minor problems.

Does every one of his videos have to be followed by all the "well, this one wasn't as funny as the last one" comments???? What is it with gamers that they have to compare EVERY LITTLE THING until there is no fun left???

Of course not every review is going to be as funny as every other review.. the same way some episodes of TV shows aren't as funny, and some songs on albums (even by your favorite band) aren't as good as others. No-one is perfect all the time.

Just stop trying to analyse WHY some are funnier than others, or complaining that one isn't as funny as your favorite and enjoy them for what they are.
(or if you don't like them, don't watch.)
