Great review, I am kinda interested now.

I believe in the orignal game you could play two player. Can you in this game? because of the free roaming capibilities I'm guessing no. But does anyone know for sure?

What is the price hit on this game?

Yep, there's 2-player. And it's $20.

I was pretty interested in the title... but after this review, no so much... :(

Maybe THAT'S the reason why Taito broke ties with Starfish? They weren't happy with the progress the game was making?

Don't look at the score, buddy; it's actually quite a positive review. As JC said himself, it was the game's difficulty that ruined it for him. Granted, the version I own is the one I bought for the PS2 a couple months ago, but it was reported through Siliconera's interview with UFO Interactive that the only difference found in the Wii edition of the game was the control scheme.

Remember that Fletcher's only problem with the game (or its "fatal flaw," as he put it) was the harsh penalty for dying compounded with its difficulty. While he may have spent hours on the first level, I had completed the entire game the night I brought it home (meaning I had no qualms with the provided challenge, which could very well be the case for you).

It's a cheap game so there's no real risk in giving it a shot. The only question is this one: Are you tougher than JC Fletcher?

I've considered myself a bad enough dude to rescue the president, so maybe.
