Konami whips up profits in last fiscal year
Konami's fiscal year ending March 31 enjoyed a good rotation around the sun with $175 million in profit, an increase of 13% over the prior year. GameDaily reports the publisher saw revenues of $2.8 billion, thanks to numerous titles in Japan, Dance Dance Revolution on the Wii in North America and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 in Europe.
The company gave guidance that it expects revenues of $3.15 billion this fiscal year; probably due to a game called Metal Gear something and continued strong sales of its numerous franchises. We're certainly curious to see how Rock Revolution -- and its drums o' doom -- will do this fall.

Gimme somore footy action.
I'm football starved ¬_¬ Fifa 08 was good, but I wanna play a new Pro Evo.
Speaking of football, anyone see that hooliganism on the news this morning? See, Arsenal fans would never do that :) lol

That's because Arsenal fans have been neutered. For £45+ you're not going to see passion, it'll be middle class politeness. Most of the real fans can't afford to go to games, anymore.
But speaking on the violence: to be honest, it looked hilarious. I hope nobody got seriously hurt, though. I think there was only one stabbing. Hope he's ok.
You know what it reminded me of: the Millwall riots a couple of years back. You know, the ones where there were trainer imprints on the police horses because they got stamped on so much.

I'm kidding, theres a bit of violence for most games, especially when it comes to drunken British ¬_¬
Although, I wouldn't have said a police officer being kicked while down by 30 odd drunken thugs was hilarious, hes still shaking.
Chelsea fans had the reputation before, they've calmed down now I see :O

I never saw/heard of that. Is there footage? I'm going to search that up.
I'm glad Fulham stayed up, even though I haven't watched a football match in like 4-5 months.
