The Behemoth says Castle Crashers is finally complete
It seems like just yesterday that Alien Hominid creator The Behemoth first announced its upcoming XBLA release Castle Crashers. Well, that's an outright lie. It's been a near unbearable wait, but according to a post by artist extraordinaire Dan Paladin on the studio's blog that game is. finally. complete.
But don't take up your swords and shields just yet, as it appears that it could be a little while before the decidedly old school, not to mention stylish brawler is available for download. Writes Paladin, "It has to go through all the required hoops of certification/final testing & all that jazz before it will actually become available on the service." He adds that "it's a good feeling know that the crashers are working their way into the world," though with the company noting that it could be a "couple months" before we're finally able to play the game the only feeling we're left with is impatience.

*rants on angrily elsewhere to more people who could care less about what he has to say*
wow.
THAT IS RACISM. But we have to diversify and reward certain people who are less qualified because of the color of their skin. Also, we punish those who are actually more qualified because of the color of their skin. 2 steps forward, 3 steps back.
A relative had to interview 10 people, he knew of 10 white, middle class people who wanted the job. But because of some shitty government thing he had to cut half of them and had to interview people from disabled and minority opportunity groups. He got talking to them and they didn't even want the job. The disabled and minority people were there because they get paid by their respective agencies to get interviews. They had no plans of actually working there.
So in the end 5 people who wanted the job didn't even get the chance to be interviewed.
And you'd get arrested for calling someone a racist name, doesn't work the other way around since the police might then seem racist.
England is going down the politically correct shitter.
Oh and we can't "brainstorm" anymore since migraine sufferers (which I am) and epileptics don't like that word.
Wow, can you believe it? This game was announced back in July 2006, and it's almost been two full years since. And to think, the original launch window was early 2007...
Here's hoping all that extra development time doesn't disappoint! :)

Castle Crashers should be a fun diversion to pass the summer months.

With that said, I can't wait for Castle Crashers, this is the only real game I've payed attention to on XBLA, and it will be my first purchase.

I'm just curious. But, what's your nationality/race?

"Bone up on your American history"
Whatever, I'm not a mind reader.
@Anticrawl
I don't want to start a race war, but i don't agree with one of your comments. IMO, We're all fighting the fight. but there's still alot of distrust between the "M" communities. I wish we could just trust each other and fight the battle together.
I don't that's ever going to happen.

We're all fighting the same fight.
I don't think that's ever going to happen.

But I busted my ass for all my good grades and even avoided most fights all the way up through middle school and missed many programs and activities because I wasn't "unfortunate enough." By middle school, didn't give a shit anymore. The system had beaten me and I took it like a dog.
As my family improved their station in life (finally to the point where my mother only needed to work one job and then finally we moved out of the poor house), I continued to not care. But I did bust my ass to get into my chosen profession and had a fairly rough time of it. Not because of race, but because of the industry as a whole.
Now despite my experiences, all throughout my college education, I was told about how hard it was for minorities. I was fighting tooth and nail, working a full time factory job while attending class full time and driving an hour each way because that was the only place I could afford housing but apparently I didn't know about hard work or being poor. I was eating ramen and salads for the better part of two years because that was what I could afford, but I just had no frame of reference.
One day, in computer ethics class, I snapped on a dude. We were arguing the ethics of software piracy on professional tools. He was against it, which is understandable, but I defended it stating that it allows children and teens who cannot afford the multi thousand dollar software a chance to learn the trade and possibly build a future for themselves in the technology industry without needing to go to college. This man, decked out in expensive clothing with the latest iPod (which was gen 2 at the time) and cellphones countered my point by asking what a white slave owner knew about hardships or not having money. Despite the very common misconception, not all white in the US owned slaves. In fact, it was quite the opposite. But here I was, worrying about the next rent check and being told I don't know shit about struggle because I'm white. A very common belief throughout the entire US.
And then I hear about this fabled struggle. Everytime I turn around. I'm not saying it doesn't exist because considering how hard I had to fight out of poverty, I imagine others in the same boat. But I am tired of having to be hyper sensitive because I'm white and nobody gives a shit pulling the punches on me. I'm tired of living in a community that fully supports racism, as long as it's against white people.
Nobody in this world has it easy. Well, okay, rich people have it easy. But nobody else does.
